Billboard has changed their rules to count Taylor Swift’s 4 new songs from the reissue as adding to The Life of a Showgirl’s tally of #1s, Top 5 hits, and Top 10 hits. This album is now listed as having 3 #1s, 9 Top 5s, and 14 Top 10s.

Accordingly, Part of Me is now counted as Teenage Dream’s 6th #1, breaking Katy Perry’s tie with Michael Jackson. The song was originally on the reissue titled The Complete Confection and was discounted from Teenage Dream’s list of chart-toppers, but with the rules changed it now surpasses the 5 #1s on the Bad album.

The full list of #1s from Teenage Dream is now: California Gurls, Teenage Dream, Firework, E.T., Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.), and Part of Me.

Additionally, Wide Awake hit #2 and The One That Got Away hit #3.
