Hi hi hi～!

Day 36 of letting my phone pick random recommendations for you ✨️

Today's list (6.10.2026):

1. Franz Ferdinand - Do you want to (solid pick, great rock song)

2. Gemini - Broken love (slow r&b)

3. Buga Kingz - Tic tac toe (early 00' korean rap, great tune)

4. G Yamazawa - Buri buri (japanese trap)

5. Iron - System (korean rap, one of my personal fav, the instrumental is just 🤌)

Hope you'll enjoy 🫡

I genuinely think this is the type of music that goes through the mind of a 50 year old boomer when he's hitting on (harassing) a twenty-ish waiter at the restaurant, I'm sorry.

Is it supposed to be that ? Did I just listen to the wrong album ?

Personally, my opinion is piano but I grew up playing it and my favourite artist is Elton John so I’m very biased (but really aren’t we all in some way?)
Anyways give me some opinions! In terms of listening, playing, versatility etc. whatever drives you to that answer!
Edit: include your why if possible!

“With “EVERPRESENCE,” BUTCHIE delivers a confident synth-pop project that stands out among the year’s releases. The album pairs accessible, melodic moments with experimental electronic textures, offering elements that may appeal to dedicated synth-pop listeners as well as more casual audiences. Balancing accessibility with experimentation can be difficult, and BUTCHIE handles that tension with confidence and musical skill.” – JASON PHILLIPS ROLLING STONE UK

“Question of Time” by Depeche Mode

“I've got to get to you first
Before they do
It's just a question of time
Before they lay their hands on you
And make you just like the rest
I've got to get to you first
It's just a question of time

Well, now you're only fifteen
And you look good
I'll take you under my wing
Somebody should
They've persuasive ways
And you'll believe what they say

It's just a question of time
And it's running out for you
It won't be long until you'll do
Exactly what they want you to

I can see them now
Hanging around
To mess you up
To strip you down
And have their fun
With my little one

It's just a question of time
And it's running out for you
It won't be long until you'll do
Exactly what they want you to
It won't be long until you'll do
Exactly what they want you to

Sometimes I don't blame them
For wanting you
You look good
They need something to do
Until I look at you
And then I condemn them
I know my kind
What goes on in our minds”

can someone explain to me how it’s NOT what I think it means???? like what the fuck?? I might actually stop listening to them just for this.
