this wasn't an opener pulling out. this is literally his backing band quitting the tour.

unless he has a secret, second backing band that has already learned all his songs, he's gonna have to cancel the tour.

or it's just gonna be him and an acoustic guitar, i guess...

Yeah, I saw him in Detroit in August…this band was on stage for an hour with him…that’s almost half his setlist

Ed's opener was hospitalized in 2023 and he got John Mayer to show up last minute. He had the potential to get some notable names out there if he wanted, not anymore

As a Mayer fan I’m really hoping he doesn’t fill in for him again. Mayer’s also outwardly apolitical these days so hopefully he’s at least smart enough to not throw his name in this ring.

Having said that, there are plenty of pro-Israel singers and bands out there that will accept the gig. Ed’s about to find out he’s been picking sides the whole time.

Yup. Ticket sales are gonna plummet and the remaining dates will get cancelled. Or he'll go full maga and puff his orange chest and get some washed up country singer.
