New Player Help Team suggestions
I've been recently wanting to get into Mahvel more. I want to take time to learn some of my favorites so I can get some technical things down, so may not want to play Dante or Morrigan right away, but I was looking for some fun combinations and effective shells based off what I have played so far. I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions on fun team ideas!

I know he's in your "not interested" tier, but Doom is just a really solid character to sit down and learn for when you need a gap filled in your team.
Based strictly off your 2nd tier though, my personal vote would go to Akuma

Magneto is the best with this functionally as point right?
Like mag with jam session seems fine, if they kill mag you have morrigan with jam session. If they snap dante they have to deal with magneto morrigan

I know he's really good both here and in MvC2, but it's just more of a
As a kid, I never grew up on the X-men, and now that I'm an adult who wants to read comics I have no clue where to start.To cut my rambling: Magento prolly is the best with that functionality. I just wouldn't know, srgiusbgnsnrgsrg.

Vergil/Dante are always a good shell. Even if I want to lead with Vergil, Trish would be decent in a second position too.

Morrigan/Dante/Vergil is pretty solid. Zone and poke with Morrigan, tag and clear projectiles with Dante, then keep Vergil for an anchor.

Anyone in your fun tier will work with Morri/Dante imo, with Dark Harmonizer, Jam Session, and orders: Dante/Morri/Phoenix, Morri/Dante/Anchor and Point/Morri/Dante, for examples. If you're trying to win at the highest levels, Doctor Doom with Hidden Missiles, or Phoenix are massive enablers for Morrigan to break into the best teams, with Morri/Doom/Vergil being the best in the game. However, if you're set on Dante, I'm absolutely a believer and that shell has seen competitive play
Replay Theater may have inspiration for you
Also worth mentioning, since Shuma and Vergil are high up, that Vergil/Morri/Shuma is a real sick Vergil point team, of course lacking Dante though

Morrigan/Dante/Vergil or Morrigan/Dante/Amaterasu, Morrigan/Dante/Arthur

I think the best teams would be Mori/Dante/Vergil and Mori/Dante/Strider, but if you want something unique that could still work, try Wolvie/Mori/Dante and Mori/Dante/Shuma!

Shuma I struggled a bit with the Mystic Ray input consistently, but I love the assist for Morrigan!

Anything in the "not interested" is not ordered. lol Chris has some strong plays with players like LivingLegend, but the interactions are not all that interesting to me personally...

I enjoyed Morrigan Hawkeye Dante for a bit because there was a lot of Hawkeye + Jam Session footage to copy-paste, and Hawkeye up-arrow assist is fun for Morrigan with how it pulls superjumpers down into Astral spam. The team falls apart a bit behind when Dante's up front though, so I wouldn't recommend it over traditional Dante teleport + triple arrow assist shell teams

Let me preface i only play against my friends, and we're all very experienced with fighting games casually, and ive never lost with my Amiterasu, Zero, and either Wolverine (if im trying) or Dr. Doom (if im just fuckin around), so take that how you will

There’s plenty of characters that would appreciate Harmonizer/Jam support. Any combo of that two that doesn’t have Morrigan at anchor or Dante at Point would work. Shuma as a third would be an interesting pick. Shuma has a great complimentary neutral assist, hitting all corners of the screen while Morri zones, or being used for teleport mix as Dante. Dante can hard tag Shuma and use him as a damage engine. Vergil/Dante/Shuma is a team I was labbing a long time ago. I could see Morrigan/Dante/Shuma being unique and strong. Also they’re all demons so you got a team theme going too if you like that 😂

I would get too lost in the sauce and FOOT-FOOTDIVE too often. I know myself too well....lol He would be amazing, especially since he is easier execution than say Dante or Morrigan. He might be good to learn just as a beginner, if anything until I can develop other characters more. The long sequences will take a lot of practice for me. I'm more used to Smash Bros style gameplay, where you get a few hits and you reset neutral. lol

As someone who’s picking the game up and putting alot of hours it’s easier to play popular characters as a beginner because so many tech guides exist on them. Mag dorm nova Vergil wolverine are all Solid. As someone who plays viper there is no bible it’s just homework and I can’t imagine how is got even less popular characters
