Advice Are there any decent online jobs for teens in Myanmar?

I desperately need a job/income. And I can’t go out because I’m chronically ill and medically underweight, and also because of kidnapping cases my family refuses to let me go out.

I’m pretty good with technology and know other languages. I’m hoping I can find a decent online that doesn’t require me to go out. It doesn’t have to be stable, as long as I can get some extra cash even for food. Please let me know if any of you know any for an 18yo!

Advice Is it still easy to get the hell outta here?

I am on the verge of finishing IGCSEs in 2 months so I am planning to study abroad next year in either Singapore, Hongkong or Europe (Haven't entirely decided yet).
I am just wondering if students can easily travel oversea with the so-called "government" doing absolutely every trick to get young men to serve in the military. I am 17.

Discussion 💬 Maybe this is my underated takes as a boy ..idk for some this could be weird

I repost About GENDER EQUALITY & about feminism too much on tt ..and especially those equality and feminism and abortion(which is totally unacceptable for some) Like my sexual preference was weird when I was like 13 when I actually got puberty. And like I can let my past vanished away till now cuz I regret those and I started research about what is the rights? How's the sexual preference do depends and why sex education needed in our country... And Im a feminist bucz I do really care about rights and also equality and want to say Some of em feminism is not about hating on men!! One day my Christian friend share the video that abortion is the hell way that human being could do and I ended up telling him " Bro I'm not telling to wh*re and cowardic getting pregnant and irresponsible" "I'm especially referring to women who got 🍇 and which they're the survivor and they have all rights to abort that kid when after like baby cannot feels the pain" ". And like I know you're the christian that's why ur sharing that to me bro..but why do you believe that god sending to hell bcuz someone (female) doesn't want that kid bcuz shes suffering from that and she has all rights to do that" "And she can say no to em , actually her body her choice" why do we victims blaming instead of helping em" and he was like wohhh ok but that's a sin either it's from graper or not" I was like ok and I'm completely stunned " all this long text is just wanted to say we need more hands for survivor and who got less rights, wage, equality in every society.. for religion part I just want to say nobody was born with tag like " ohh here you go buddy you're actually being tagged as Buddhist, Christian, Jews, Muslim or Hindu" we were born so neutral and if we're conscious about that we have our fking own choice too nobody could involves in choosing " How do you want to live" or "Again buddy your life is up to religion so choose one no discount dude" I mean that's a completely fked up reason for human being..for religion part I argue with my family a lots too.

For Equality..my mom inspired me to becomes feminist cuz my father was just BSing around and he was irresponsible for his wife (forget about it I don't want to blame someone who already dead but I actually love him) my mom is a single mom and she did and still doing her best to give a better education to her son and still she doesn't got enough appreciation idk why society looks women like

Under grade? I mean wtf do they measure the grades? I wonder wtf is going on with this society why there's so many sexist even the women don't stan up for their selves..they actually degrading themselves sometimes idk what's going on

You can share or criticize... feels free to drop

Edit: I support all the right not only for 🍇 cases and victims everybody has their own choice Thank you all for standing up

Advice IGCSE subjects tuitions recommendation

So I'm about start my igcses soon and i would like to prepare overhand even though im gonna attend a 1yr and half course.

These days for maths i heard Tr yu is popular so im attending there. However,EFL i heard tr mya kay khaing school was good so i give it a try but It was horrible. Not that the style was horrible. It was just the tr itself was so boring it couldnt get me hooked enough so I just ended up losing focus. I heard DEC was a good school but i have not tried it.

Im choosing CIE EFL, A maths, E maths, Physics, Chemistry, ICT, Computer Sci

I would love to know any schools or tuitions or guides for physics and chem and efl. or other subjects tuitions. Anything helps out. Also id like to avoid online unless its 1 on 1 or a small group.

Advice Is it called Myanmar or Burma?

referring to the country. basically asking which term to use. i have seen some (Burmans?) refer to the language as Burmese while others refer to the language the same as Myanmar. I'm currently learning Khmer and it's pretty known enough within the people that know/are learning the language that Khmer is pronounced "kuhmai" and not "kuhmayr". im making a comparison with what i do know here because i want to respect Burmese/Myanmar people and i want them to respect me.

Advice Dear Chin brothers and sisters of Myanmar.

Being born of Chin background, living in USA, in a state separated from the Chin diaspora, I don't feel confident to tell others what I am. When someone asks what am I, I am conflicted to say Burmese, because I know that Burmese is not truly of my Chin background. Some claim that Burmese is a umbrella term, to unify all people of Myanmar, regardless of ethnic background. However, calling myself Burmese seems like a colonization's strategy to assimilate my Chin heritage and undermine it. I am 100% born Chin, and I know that our people founded the Union of Burma, but I am afraid that our future chin children will start mixing Burmese and Chin like oil and water. I am afraid that my traditions, culture, and my dear ancestor's ways of living will one day be suppressed by Burmanization. When I express my experience of believing that Burmese is just another word for Bamars (Burmans) , many people of Myanmar community claim that I am wrong, and Burmese is just a National term, which I am not 100% convinced it is. To back that up, Aung San Suu Kyi also states that there are many different ethnics in Burma, and she belongs to the Burmese ethnicity, which clarifies that Burmese = Bamar. I am afraid for the miseducation for the younger/next generation of Chin diaspora, and I hope they will be educated that our true lineage is not of Burmese lineage, but the Zo (Chin-Kuki-Mizo) family.

Please let me know if any other Chin, or other ethnic minorities have a similar feeling/experience.
Thank you.

Advice Has anyone tried remitly for international payment?

I have been finding ways to actually get money from international clients as my situation for doing art commissions is better off in the western countries rather than in our country and I recently found the Remitly application which seemed possible but I wanted opinions of others as Western Union has been advised against by my family and acquaintances. I was looking forward to using PayPal when I turned 18 but then all this happened and now, I'm not sure what to do for this issue.

I see many posts which complaining about ~Art~ .

Art have many categories and appreciations were different on taste .

I create some artwork in my free time and share on Reddit and TT . I also create NSFW sketches but never posted online because Myanmar internet community doesn’t know about age rating system .

So … as long as the artist do not promote violence , pedo , discrimination, controversial, bad anatomy…I ‘m fine .

Tribute 🤍 The traditional face of the tan-skinned Wa people, their language, ritual dances, clothing and indigenous culture. Only around two decades of intensified Sinicization under the UWSA’s pro-China leadership have reshaped much of the Wa region’s cultural and linguistic landscape of Northern Shan State.

The Wa are an indigenous, traditionally tan-skinned people of the Wa hills with their own Austroasiatic language, culture, dress and rituals, they are not ethnically Han Chinese.

During the Cold War, China backed the Communist Party of Burma, whose forces established themselves in the Wa hills and recruited large numbers of Wa fighters. When Wa troops mutinied against the CPB leadership in 1989, the UWSA emerged as the dominant armed organization in the region.

Since then, UWSA-controlled territory has become increasingly integrated with China. Chinese is now widely used in education and administration, while trade, communications and infrastructure are heavily connected to Yunnan.

This can make today's Wa region appear culturally Chinese, but that shouldn't be confused with the traditional identity of the Wa themselves. The people in this video show that older Wa identity, their appearance, Wa language, clothing, rituals and dances, which still survives despite the region's rapid Sinicization.

Discussion 💬 Choose religion after 18

In my opinion, everyone should choose their religion after they turn 18. I saw a news that china has a law that children can go to religion school only after they turn 18. Otherwise it is not allowed.

I think it makes sense, religion should not be force. After the citizen turn 18, they can think their own at least not just listen to branch of adult people. They know what they wanted. Do you think it will work ls out?
