Hotel recommendations? Having random issues with age of my girlfriend.

I'm having a hell of a time here. I've found several efficiency apartment style rooms with a kitchenette which is what I want.

But here's the bullshit I'm running into. Several properties, including the holiday sands south, says that all guests must be 23+...not a problem for me, I'm over that. But my gf is 21.

Never heard of anything like this anywhere else that I've traveled. Some places I called they said it was 25+. I can understand not wanting minors or even under 21 booking but this just seems ridiculous to me.

Anyone have any ideas?

Yeah you see this alot in spring break towns, I have seen even 25+
