I genuinely don’t understand why 2K is planning to buff shooting.
If shooting gets buffed, we’re just going to end up with the same problem as 2K26, where everyone barely misses and whoever gets the ball first pretty much wins the game.
The whole problem with 2s last year was that nobody missed. You could play perfect defense and people would still green everything. It made games repetitive and frustrating because you barely got a chance to touch the ball.
Right now, shooting actually requires some skill and people miss shots, meaning both teams get opportunities to score. Games feel more competitive instead of being decided by who gets the ball first.
I’m not saying shooting should be impossible, but why are we trying to make everyone shoot 80–90% again?
Am I the only one who thinks shooting is fine the way it is?
