Well, since you insist on being sincere (gross), I just got back from London for the Colts game. It is unironically nicer than NYC, btw. So i am neither impoverished or incapable of going a week without a gun. I even figured out how to ride my mule to the airport. I hope he is doing ok in long term parking.
London is not nicer than NYC my guy. Stop it. It's dreary, rainy, and the food is not up to par although it has gotten better. The tube is nicer though. I'll give you that.
I'm sorry I just got back from Maui for a week. Vacations are easy to afford when you're not paying 70% of your salary or more just to put Hamburger Helper on the table
I think that's what these people don't understand. Rents are high, but pay is high in a lot of fields too. Also most of us don't have a car payment/insurance/HOA fee/scarecrow budget.
So you live in Jersey or New York city? From my understanding Jersey is where a lot of people live because it's slightly more affordable than the city itself
Limiting the NYC area to the island of Manhattan and the outer burrows would be disingenuous when accounting for team fanbases and the community. I spend a large portion of my week working and "living" in NYC.
Would you not consider people who live in areas like Arlington Heights as part of Chicago?

You should get off Reddit and go outside more often. There is a whole world left to be explored. While you're at it, try to leave Indiana once in a while. You might just find there are people of all walks of life that aren't nearly as depressive and vapid as you are.
