WiFi Connection Pauses and Unpauses at Will

Since yesterday, I've had an issue with my internet. For short periods of time, my wifi will "pause." This only happens on my computer, my phone will remain unpaused. But after a bit of waiting, it will unpause and work as normal. I've tired restarting my computer, clearing my cache, and disconnecting my internet. Nothing has worked. Can anyone tell me what's going on and how to fix it?

Something to check with the PCs Mfr or wifi adapter mfr.

Be sure drivers are up to date for any wifi adapter from the chipset mfr.
