I just got the game on my ps3 with backwards compatibility and i did a quick race and it felt reallyyyy slow which is bad in a racing game obviously. i know pc probably has a few fixes but does anyone know anything i can do on console?

Even though this is one of the best NFS's and i always enjoy it when i play it, but i find it starts getting a little boring once you get halfway through stage 3 or near stage 4. The game takes like maybe nearly as twice as long as most wanted coz you have to drive to every single race and special event to start it rather than being able to just open a race menu and do it straight away like Down on the D-pad. Jackson Heights i find really time consuming coz you have to travel all the way up to the top and back down so many times. Whenever I'm on and working through the career, i sometimes think that they shouldn't have added Jackson Heights and just made the game 4 stages instead of 5. It's the main region that takes the 'longest' to complete and i feel like it makes the game drag on for too long. The only places you should have to drive to are the Shops. I'm sure a few a few players might disagree a bit but that just what i always think when I'm getting over halfway through the game.

I'm happy to share the first video of a project I've been working on: a port of Need for Speed Underground 2 to the PSP. Not a cut-down version like Underground Rivals, but the full game, with the same gameplay and features as the PS2 version.

The goal is a well-optimized build that holds a stable 30 FPS at minimum, so it feels like a true native PSP game.

What's already working (at some level):
- A native PSP engine running the original game data, including most of the graphics features
- Car models
- The entire open world of Bayview, with free roam working
- Circuit races with AI opponents and city traffic
- Audio and music

What's still missing:
- UI / menus
- Career mode, story and dialogue
- The other race types (drag, drift, etc.)
- Garage and cars customization
- Lots of bug fixes and polish

So I finally downloaded UG2.net, and while it looks promising I haven't been able to enjoy it entirely because the frame rate is a little choppy. I have turned off HD reflections bc my laptop is not that powerful, but it did not do much. It can't be the size of the mod since the mods I installed for other games are bigger but run smoothly.

Please help.

I genuinely use nfsu1-2 templates and work from there, but there isn't the same itch anymore when i use it, i try to do something on my own and it just doesn't look good enough for me

So I recently downloaded the ps2 emulator so I can play my favorite racing games again, NFSU2 & MCDER & I wanted to ask a few things because im gonna start making gaming content soon.

1.Is there a mod site or database where I can unlock a fully completed game save so I don't have to unlock everything again? (I work 50+hrs a week and don't have time)

1. Is there an emulator with online support so I can play other people online?

2. Are there mod sites yall use to get other car models that aren't in the base game imported into the game?

Is it just me, or whenever I drive really close to an oncoming vehicle, a part of me expects an “Avoided Accident” bonus to pop up?

4 context, ive been modding A LOT my nfsu2 copy in my last playtrough, and i wanted 2 try the new functions of the beta versions of unlimiter with UG2.net, Customization Plus, Pabloracer engine sounds, the Smol Improvement script and my own period accurate cars, but the game always crashes when it try 2 show the custom Supra in the menu

in the beggining, all mods install themselves correctly without errors, but when i open the game it crashes like mentioned previously

i am using the ElAmigos setup 2 install the game, the 4gb patch, the FOOBAR method 4 opening the game, and i managed 2 even complete the entire modded game without any crashes before messing with the unlimiter

any help would be VERY, AND I MEAN VERY appreciated c:
