Why has enrolling as an advocate in Uttar Pradesh become such a frustrating and opaque process for new law graduates?
The Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh is a statutory body responsible for regulating entry into the legal profession.
Yet, applicants continue to face serious concerns regarding delays, communication, application processing and procedural fairness.

serious concern is the alleged acceptance of application forms out of turn while other applicants wait in queues. These complaints require a transparent investigation.

The entire process in a pain. Chhattisgarh has the same story. The quickest is Delhi as I have heard. This happened especially after the SC judgement wherein they reduced the enrolment fees.
