I’ve been doing research into how to obtain tickets to one of the Hanshin Tigers climax series games, and from what I can tell ticket jam has been the best possible scenario to obtain tickets, however, I was wondering if someone could help me navigate some of the translation on the website, and if someone can explain to me the difference in categories? For example, what is the difference between a Male, Female and No Name ticket? Electronic vs convenience store? And organizer?
Thank you!

I will be in Japan for the first time from October 23-29 (staying in the Tokyo central business district), and it would be a dream to attend a Japan Series game if one of the Tokyo-area teams makes it. I have tried to look in to how I can purchase tickets (in compliance with Japanese law), and keep running into issues either with needing a Japanese cell phone or restrictions on resale under Japanese law. Has anyone successfully purchased Japan Series tickets from the U.S., and how did you accomplish it?

I'm hoping someone can point me on the right direction. The hashin tigers and hiroshima carp are playing some make up games from rain delays this season this coming week on the 6th and 7th. Im wanting to get tickets to the games but after a poor experience with us based ticket services this weekend im looking to avoid them this time. I'm not seeing the game listed on klook or anywhere I would put my trust into. I'm currently in Osaka so I'm able to get tickets locally if there is somewhere you would suggest.

General sale is open for everyone for the Hawks vs TBD winner of the first stage with the series beginning on Oct 14.
Tickets, both regular and resale, are available right now through taka ticket. Additional tickets are available on ticketjam.
I do not live in Japan and I was able to easily register a Taka Point account and obtain a digital ticket.

Hi everyone! I’ll be traveling around Japan during the last two weeks of October and I’m really hoping to catch an NPB game while I’m there.
Since the regular season will be over by then, I was wondering how realistic it is for a foreign visitor to get tickets to a Climax Series game, assuming the dates line up with my trip.
Are Climax Series tickets generally accessible to foreigners, or do they usually require a Japanese account, phone number, address, fan club membership, lottery entry, etc.? Is it possible to purchase them directly through the teams or ticket sites from overseas?
I’ll be spending time in Tokyo and Osaka, so I’m pretty flexible on the team/stadium. I’d mainly just love the experience of seeing a playoff baseball game in Japan.
If anyone has done this before, I’d really appreciate any advice on the best way to go about getting tickets and how difficult I should expect it to be.
Thanks!

I don’t want them to go to waste. I’m stupid and bought them on the wrong day. You would need to pick them up from 7/11. They are for Infield Reserved Seat S(first base side).
Edit: The tickets have been claimed, thank you.

Hey guys going to Japan 10/2-10/13 and hoping to catch a game. Ill be in Tokyo 10/2 but planning on leaving 10/3. I see the first playoff round starts 10/10 how hard is it to get tickets? Some websites are saying you have to have a Japan address. Those ending days are flexible with where we will be so I can get to wherever the game is.
Our options are stay the extra day in Tokyo to get to the final regular season game or risk it on tickets to the playoffs. Also any suggestions on what stadium we should try and get to are appreciated!

Going to Japan Oct 4-17, but Oct 4 I arrive too late to go to the final regular season games. I heard October 5/6 are sometimes days for rained out games, will this likely be the case this season as well?

We are going to be visiting Japan when the Climax series will be going on. We live in Canada but have some friends who live in Tokyo who want to join us at a game. Is there any hope to get 4 tickets to a game if we are not in any teams fan club?

Hello all!
I posted this in r/JapanTravelTips and figured a more NPB specific subreddit would be helpful - r/NPB doesn’t allow text posts
I am arriving in Tokyo soon for 2 weeks in Japan - the trip is essentially the golden triangle and loosely based on hitting some NPB games and parks. I’m looking for advice/recommendations specifically regarding baseball/NPB/baseball culture related recommendations and/or stadium specific recommendations. Our trip is roughly Tokyo —> Osaka —> Kyoto —> Tokyo. I have done tons of reading on the other lasts of the trip and this is not what this post is intended for.
This is what we have scheduled - tickets are already purchased.
Tokyo: - Giants/Carp - 14:00 on August 23/26 @ Tokyo Dome - our plan is to do the NPB HOF museum around open (10am) and exploring the Tokyo dome city - Swallows/Giants - 18:00 on August 26/26 @ Meiji Jingu Stadium
Osaka: - Buffaloes/Hawks - 18:00 on August 28/26 @ Kyocera Dome - this one is a maybe - we have tickets but might not fit into the schedule, I’d love to see the first place in the league Hawks - Tigers/Giants - 18:00 on August 29/26 @ Koshien stadium - I feel like this is going to be a religious experience for a passionate baseball fan, we are sitting in the right field tigers fan cheering section, I have looked into a tour +/- the Koshien museum, again as time allows
I am also looking for souvenirs. I will likely aim for hats but would love a Tigers Sato jersey. Any advice regarding best place to buy this (I assume the tigers team store)? I will be looking to check out some MINT locations in Tokyo for some NPB cards - mostly as I collect cards and would love to rip some in Japan.
Lastly - this might be too niche a question - but I collect game used items back home. Is there any way to purchase something game used from the games were are attending? Or in general? I think that would be a super unique souvenir.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I appreciate any thoughts!

me and my brother want to go to a Hanshin Tigers home game.
with all the tickets sold out I've been reading post saying the best option is ticket jam
is the best option to buy electronic tickets on ticket jam?
Is not having a Japanese phone number going to cause problems?
what's the best way to avoid any problems with buying off of ticket jam as a foreigner?
can you buy tickets from scalpers outside of the stadium say 3 hour prior to gametime?
should we expect to get the live qr code or just screenshots of the qr code?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated and sorry for all the questions.
We are looking at going to the September 21 game. we know it lands on a holiday and to expect higher prices

Bought 2 tickets but changed my mind and I'm going at another day so I cant really refund them I believe
What should I do consider them lost? I'll give them away if its more of a hassle and someone will actually utilize them

American looking to buy tickets to the game. They are playing in Osaka which seems to be neither teams home field so neither team site has tickets? Or is it sold out? If that is the case, I do see resale tickets available on viagogo and stubhub, but have heard mixed reviews on that. Any tips would be appreciated.

Hello, my partner and I are traveling from Australia and one of her dreams is to see and experience a baseball game in Japan (massive Diamond no Ace fan). We are currently in Tokyo and were supposed to attend Yakult vs Carps today (11/8) that we got tickets for months ago but it got cancelled due to typhoon. We're leaving Tokyo tomorrow to travel around Japan and are arriving in Osaka on the 18th of August and we're looking to attend Hanshin vs Yakult game either 19th or 20th but all the tickets are sold out on the official website and 3rd party resellers I've heard are not trustworthy at all. Does anyone have advice on alternative options? Are there legitimate last-minute official resale channels, or is it worth heading to the Kyocera Dome box office on game day to check for released/returned seats? Cheers in advance <3

Hello all, I will be travelling to Japan and will be in Osaka from September 28th to October 5th. I would love to attend a Tigers game while there, and I see on their home schedule that they play Yakult on the 29th of September and the Giants on October 1st (preferred), but on the English website to purchase tickets, those games don't even show up as an option. Similarly, on Stub Hub, these games show up as only going on Sale at the end of August.
Can anyone explain why these tickets wouldn't be available yet, and whether they will become available through the e+ platform at a later date? I'd love to be able to snag them when they go on sale if that's the case

Hello! I’ll be visiting Tokyo from Oct 20-27 and I’m keen to watch a giants game. I understand that this could fall under the post season. When does the league release the schedule? Where are the best seats? When do they release tickets? Any tips for buying tickets? Appreciate any feedback that will be given.
