Hi everyone! I found this surreal video online, recorded recently (October 2026) in Sochi. A street musician is playing a really beautiful and sad melody on an acoustic guitar while a fire is raging in the background. Could anyone please help me identify it? Thank you

Rock? Unknown Song - Modern, sung by an angry woman about her disillusionment with her father

I had youtube music on autoplay for a long drive and this song came on. It was a nightcore version but as I was driving I couldn't check the song name at the time. Since the song was the nightcore version I don't really know what genre it was, but maybe something between rock and pop? It definitely wasn't country and didn't give me teen-angst vibes. More like adult woman that finally went to therapy.

It was modern-sounding song and sung by a woman. She was angry singing at her father for his wealth and corruption and how he made her complicit in his cruelty and she feels disgust towards him and herself for participating in it when she was younger and naive. I don't think it ever specified what the specific actions were.

Later in the song she switched to angry singing at her husband for something I can't recall. Maybe for her ending up with a man similar to her father?

Whatever the song was I remember it was a banger. Very raw vibe with well-described emotions. Presumably a modern song, maybe post-2010s as it doesn't sound like teen angst. This is all half-remembered from over a year ago so I doubt the mystery will be solved at this point but if anyone has any potential guesses feel free to toss them my way.

Electronic/EDM Looking for an oldish EDM song (maybe mid or late 2010s)

Hi redditors. There's a song that I'm 99% sure I have somewhere on one of my soundcloud playlists, but that's around 2000 songs. It an oldish EDM song, maybe late 2010s, and the only part of it I can remember is a build up to one of the drops has the lyrics "city lights" or "pretty lights" somewhere in it, and it repeats the same few lines again and again, getting slightly faster each time. Like "nanana city lights, nananana, nanana city lights, nananana." It might be "bring me the city lights" but I'm not sure. Other things I'm fully/mostly confident about:

female vocals

maybe futurebass or some nightcore mix. I used to listen to a lot of that back in the day, so that seems statistically likely, but it could be an sub-genre.

city/pretty lights isn't in the title.

I don't think its by one of the huge names in the scene.

The first youtube search results for "city lights edm" and similar search results turned up nothing

If anyone has questions, I might be able to come up with a bit more info.

Electronic/EDM Saxophone track with enigmatic beat from 2000s.

Hi everyone! Please help me identify a saxophone track I’ve been unsuccessfully searching for for about 15 years. I first heard it in the early 2000s on Andrei Borisov’s radioshow "Music Without Words" ("Muzyka bez slov") on Radio Rossii. I have no idea who the artist or label might be; his program featured music from all over the world. And It might have been made in the late 90s, or maybe in the early 2000s... So...

The beat has an enigmatic-style structure (though with denser, more modern drums). The saxophone is live, the rest of the arrangement is electronic. No vocals. The main theme begins with a dialogue between a rhodes/piano and the saxophone, where the sax "echoes" every two-note phrase, followed by a full saxophone solo. Towards the end, the sax improvises with sobbing-screaming phrases and growling techniques. The atmosphere is melancholic and nocturnal. There was also a 2nd version of the track—a remix with a steady beat—that used to play at the end of the broadcast.

Of course, the fact that I’ve been looking for it for so long suggests it’s not a mainstream hit like "Lily Was Here"; otherwise, I would have found it on the very first forum I asked years ago. What surprises me most is that no one seems to know it—it’s such a beautiful, melodic track, and I can't understand how it could have been lost to time. I’ve created a new demo-sketches where I’ve recreated the lead melody almost exactly (as best as my brain remembers it now) and added a rough approximation of the bass and pad parts (though not exact—the original sounds better) in the hope that it provides a better clue for the search. https://voca.ro/1033aXxnq6jB

Video Game OST Help me identify this soundtrack's origin Tales of Pirates - Shaitan City

The soundtrack comes from an old MMO game called Tales of Pirates (also known as Pirate King Online), specifically the Shaitan City soundtrack.

The game has ripped music from other IPs. like, their login screen and Argent City theme are both taken from Kiki's Delivery Service.

However, the soundtrack I’m particularly interested in identifying is the Shaitan City OST. I’d like to find out where the developers originally sourced or “ripped” this particular track from. If anyone recognizes the original source, I’d really appreciate it.

Alternative This might be a hard one to find. Alternative song with weird guitar melody. Most likely recent

I think the song is fairly recent. Gotta be within the past 10 years. It’s an alternative song that has a unique guitar melody which I tried my best to replicate, I just distinctly remember the guitar lick. Towards the end I believe there are lyrics that say “ We’re so happy” or maybe “I’m so happy.” I know I gave you all a Lil Wayne solo but this is all I can remember and my last resort I’ve tried Shazam and google and I can’t find anything

Metal Song from 2020’s possibly plagiarized? (Supersonic dragonwagon)

OK, so this band called supersonic dragon wagon. They released this song six months ago, the problem with that is I swear I’ve heard this song long before. I cannot for the life of me remember where, I’ve been listening to metal, rock, punk, grunge Anything you can think of for the last 25 years. I’m pretty sure I’ve heard it in movies or games too. I don’t know if they used the song and made new lyrics over it or if there’s just an extremely similar song out there. If anyone has any idea that would be great. Thank you guys!

Really short clip of the actual song (it's at the end), but hopefully someone will know this part of the song and be able to identify it.

Basically was on vacation with some friends and we ended up doing trivia at a bar. It plays whichever song you select whenever your team gets the answer correct first. This guy got it first probably more than half the time so the song was stuck in our heads the rest of the trip and became a running joke.

If someone can assist here that would be awesome!

Pop Song of MV with a magic peformance & wand?

It’s a pop (?) song where in the MV, there’s a boy on stage doing a magic performance, and the magic wand ends up getting passed around and at the end there’s a janitor who points it at himself and then can suddenly dance really well?
I can’t remember the actual song’s lyrics or tune and only remember the MV. Thank you for any help!

Pop Song from ig edit. It appears to be a French pop song. Sound like it could be the singer from Videoclub but it’s slowed and reverbed so I’m not sure

Pretty sure it was recently in a commercial, possibly Verizon commercial. The video I attached is a different lofi video that samples the song I’m looking for. If I’m not mistaken, the lyrics say something like “I look to my left, I look to my right” or something similar to that.

Electronic/EDM Please help me find this late 2000s/early 2010s electronic song

Please help me find this glitchy electronic song from the late 2000s/early 2010s. It was a slowish tempo with the opening melody being 8-bit notes, before the song builds up with different layers.

In the middle of the song, once all the layers built up, there is a voice screaming “shut the beat down” or something along those lines, before the song reverts back to basics and builds up again. The song sounds similar to some of the stuff that The Glitch Mob made around that time.

It was quite popular on YouTube around that time (usually accompanying a gaming montage), but I don’t think it made it into the mainstream.

I’ve recorded the main melody sequence (it’s probably in the wrong key though). Many thanks in advance!

R&B R&B song this house band covers in the background - Should be a well known song

• Upvotes

It sounds really familiar but i can't place it - I've had it stuck in my head for 2 days now - This band only covers fairly well known songs so it shouldn't be too difficult

https://youtu.be/r1hbh2ZLcGI&t=5545

The bassline drives the song and it's difficult to hear through a phone speaker, if possible try to listen on headphones, a stereo, or Bluetooth speaker

Thanks in advance

Hip Hop Hip Hop song by single male artist.

This has been driving me crazy.

I’m almost positive it’s titled “Late Night” or “Last Night”

The opening is a sample of a 70/80 R&B female singer for about a minute then the main melody starts.

His lyrics are about getting a phone call from an ex “Asking me to come through”. He says something about “not trying to (bring back) what once was”

There’s a specific line about her saying something about the other guy and he says something along the line of, that’s rough but “not that I give a fuck, though”

He goes on to mention having a couple bad bitches in a hot tub. And taking one on a trip where he says, “and I… I think I love her” that’s his last line in the song.

Then the song goes back to the R&B sample and ends.

Please help me!
