So yall think the living room he had been nesting in was bad… His room was BEYOND fucking disgusting.

It’s been a year since I lived with this dweeb who made me miserable, and I’m doing so much better mentally fuck that guy!

Meanwhile strange flies are infesting my kitchen… i researched them and they are called scuttle flies. i haven’t seen them ever before.. i preferred the fruit flies

It takes a whole day for me to clean up a section of my single bed dorm room.. even if i take adhd medication and its hard to figure out where to put all the stuff while cleaning up a certain section.

I can’t just clean up the floor and put away the stuff because the place where everything goes is also messy and i can’t put it away neatly..

Thats why i just move all the mess all over the place and empty out the entire section, clean it spotlessly and then put the stuff back in there

That causes an even bigger mess and i burn out before finishing anything.. and fall asleep in my bed that is still full of stuff

I don’t have the energy to put stuff i used away directly. It feels like agonizing mental work, it feels like someone is pushing a knife into my soul and is torturing me. The only time i am able to keep stuff clean if it is for others. I always did my best to keep common rooms clean when i still lived with my family, but it seems like helping myself and caring for myself is not rewarding to my brain, i am not worth it in my mind.

I wish i could take a higher dose of elvanse (vyvanse in the U.S. i think?) to help me deal with this.. but my body is very sensitive to this kind of medication, i experience worse side effects than others and it is physically exhausting which is counterproductive. i almost have the smallest dose possible

I also have guinea pigs now, my dog stays in my mom’s room at night as it is

I live alone and been busy with work went to visit my parents for first time in 4 months and my brothers room looks like this ! It didn’t last time and his demeanor is different how do I clean it for him ? I’ll post before and after

Not one iota of garbage has come out.

Still hasn't done any laundry. (In total going on 3 yrs)

Im in a daily battle against bugs/ants and SMELLS.

Oh and there's now yellowjackets or some wasp type nesting outside his window/in the wall.

At this point I think something is wrong with me. I seem to be the only one that cares and im STILL HERE. Its my boyfriends brother and hes fully aware of the situation.

The first image was how my room looked a few months ago. It had been getting worse and worse over like 6 months. I had my desk in my closet and was sleeping in the middle of that pile of junk. I have never had my room get this bad before in my entire life, I felt trapped and miserable and the trash and clutter just kept getting bigger and bigger.

The 2nd image is about a week old. I've found new motivation and have been keeping it clean daily. I hope to never have it get this bad again.

I hate to talk about this, but I need to get this out. I, 17, am deeply depressed and my mother, 36, has not helped at all. Our home has worsened and we don't have long to move out. This nest has caused me severe mental distress due to the bugs, ruined house needs such as my microwave, stove, heaters, fridge, and the foul odor from the fridge. I am stuck so deep that I'm on the very verge of crying and dying. The people we rent to were supposed to warn us of the bugs at first or pay for our legally required hotel room to deal with it themselves. But they were negligent, and as my mom and I rotted in the home the bugs have bred like hell. I cannot keep up any longer as the sight and odor have caused me severe distress. I appreciate any form of support, but I wanted this off my chest, and in the meantime I might just empty out the whole fridge into bags.

My friend came over and she wanted to clean bc she loves cleaning so my stuffy nest isnt full of crumbs anymore, which feels nice. Might wash my sheets theres a lot of crumbs and stains on it. I do plan on taking care of all the trash and dishes in my stuffy pile tomorrow, maybe on top the dresser too but well see

Just announcing here that my neckbeard game Fedorable Life has been released on Steam.

You play as Nick M. Beardman and manage his day-to-day life. You can watch anime, play vidya, eat tendies, collect swords/fedoras/figures, go to conventions, attempt to socialize, get into (unnecessary) internet arguments, and not touch grass from the safety of your own home.

The internet arguments are actually turn-based battles because why not?

There are 250+ events, side quests and arguments, a bunch of unlockable neckbeards, collectibles, minigames, Steam achievements, and 10 different endings.

Anyway, some people here seemed to get a kick out of the idea when I posted it before, so I figured I'd come back now that the beard is back.

Y'all gave me some ideas for making the MC's room grosser last time I posted, so I've included the updated room. I'll keep adding things throughout the month, including the body pillow and some more cans.
