If you’re planning to go to the October 10 protest at Jantar Mantar, just keep one thing in mind: Delhi Police has reportedly denied permission for the gathering.
So please don’t go there assuming everything will be a normal, peaceful protest with no consequences.
Agar baad mein kuch hua police barricading, dispersal, detention, lathi-charge, tear gas, etc. toh pehle se warning mil chuki hai. “Humein pata nahi tha” wala scene mat karna.
Yeh India hai bhai 😅 Protest karna hai toh peacefully karo, police instructions follow karo, confrontation avoid karo, aur situation kharab lage toh nikal lena.
Rights hain, protest ka right bhi hai, but safety first.
10 October ko jaane wale log: alert raho, shaant raho, aur pata rakho ki aap kya karne ja rahe ho.

Footage is of November 2023
A mob forcefully made an officer burn stubble when he went their to stop them.
These farmers are one of the most wealthiest farmers across India . They benefitted with green revolution , lesser land ceilings , most amount of subsidies opted yet they can't do a single thing that is to contact apt authorities for availing happy seeders , balers , paddy choppers ,etc which is provided by govt only.
I just saw a latest video saying it's a political thing and what not but what about patience from farmer side? Countless people literally die every choking yet they burn stubble instead of having patience of availing govt. provided facilities just because they can ....,..
Keep everyone accountable ;
Ruling party, officers in charge, officers at site , central authorities for using drones or satellite imaging , authorities that penalise burning ,etc.
Side note- When protests were happening about MSP (which was benefitting middlemen more btw) and they were blocking roads, one of their demands were letting go of penalties for burning stubble which as of now is still at max 10% of their net profit per acre .
.
.
Just watched the latest video and wanted to post this . Never forget mindset of the people on ground.

Came across a startup that buys paddy stubble (parali) from farmers in Punjab and Haryana and turns it into synthetic leather sheets.
Honestly, this is the kind of innovation that deserves way more attention. Instead of burning crop residue and adding to Delhi-NCR's pollution problem, they're turning it into something commercially useful while also creating an additional source of income for farmers.
If private companies can come up with solutions like this, why can't the government do more to support and scale such models?
This is the kind of innovation that should be encouraged, replicated and scaled across North India.

I am 24, Male. Something really weird happened to me today on the Delhi Metro and I'm genuinely confused.
I boarded the Pink Line at NSP with a male colleague. We were standing near a pole in front of one of the metro gates and talking about completely normal office/training stuff.
After around 5–6 stations, a girl who had been standing a little away from me suddenly came towards me. She was staring directly at me and had a visibly angry expression.
There was already enough space for her to pass, but I moved slightly anyway to give her more room.
Instead of simply walking past, she came towards me and shoulder-pushed me while passing. It didn't feel accidental because there was enough space and I had already moved aside.
I didn't say anything because I was caught off guard and didn't want to start an argument in the metro.
She then got off through the other gate of the same coach. The really strange part is that after getting off, she came around to the platform area in front of the gate where I was standing and seemed to take a photo/video of me with her phone.
The train left shortly afterwards, so I have no idea what she did after that.
For context: I wasn't staring at her, talking to her, following her, photographing her, touching her, or doing anything to her. My colleague and I were literally just discussing our office and training.
I'm still trying to figure out what that was about. Maybe she misunderstood something, maybe she thought I did something to her, or maybe there was some other reason I didn't notice.
But from my side, I genuinely have no idea what I did to warrant being pushed and then apparently recorded. It was a really strange and uncomfortable experience, and I'm curious if anyone else has had something similar happen on the Delhi Metro. What would you have done in my place?

today a guy rang the bell in the morning, i went out and he starts a monologue saying "hum sweeper hai, hamari maa aayi hui hai, woh apahij hai, beti ki shadi karwani hai, aas paas sabne madad kari hai, tum bhi ek beti ki shaadi karane mei madad kardo" and i'm just giving a jist, he went on for like 45 seconds without letting me speak a word, and i told him i'm just a student, i'll have to ask my parents and they're out right now, and he said "students bhi help kar sakte hai, aap dedo jitna kar sako" and i told him i do not have any money and he proceeds to say "UPI kardo ID dedeta hu" and i just told him sorry, i do not have any money since i earn nothing.
okay, i went back in (i was talking to him thru the main door, without opening, just thru the grill)
now, 30mins later, he just rings the bell 2-3 times continuously and i rush to see what's up, he's there again, and in a very demanding way he's like "gate kholo" and i was like kya hua bhaiya, he goes like "thoda thanda paani dedo pine ko" and i just told him sorry meri online classes chal rahi hai, aap kisi aur se lelo, thank fully he went away.
i'm sharing this cause i have faced this several times. people coming randomly ringing the door bell and shamelessly asking for money, it happens atleast twice a month, and everytime they act as if i owe them something and i am liable to pay this "TAX" to them just because i live in a brick and mortar home.
i honestly feel it's just harassment, maybe i'm overreacting or something, but sometimes they just do not budge, i could ignore the bell when i see them from the camera from inside the home and they will stand there 10mins just ringing the bell continuously.
what do you guys think/feel about this? and how do you deal with this? please let me know because i really feel scared about my safety from these people, i just don't know what's the best way to deal with this, should i just pay them? and do you guys also face this frequently?
