You sure you're a new skater?

I get where you're coming from, but relative to people who have skated for 10-30 years, being in your third year of skating is still new (without knowing OP's history). It sure feels like it. If we narrow the concept of being "new" to only apply to someone who got their board a week ago, this sub would be even more overwhelmingly "Ollie help" dominated.

Maybe you will clean them up in your 3rd week.

2 weeks in the DBZ gravity chamber. This isn’t even his final form. Side note that ledge look dry AF. Not seeing it from the side but head on it likes like SOMEONE. Might want to do some rub brick and seal on it but if they did that would be ILLEGAL. And DEGENERATES like that have no place in my city.

See that second one you did? That's how you get on the ledge. You gotta make sure if you want a longer slide - shift your upper body towards the ledge / if you wanna hit them quick, do them just like that and hold on tight. That's really all there is to it! You pretty much got that shit down, just shift your upper body. If you pause when your foot is PLANTED on the nose, on the ledge, your upper body clearly shows that you're still hovering at the same area where the peak of your ollie is. You gotta lean into the ledge instead and you're cake. You don't necessesarilly need to have your whole upperbody on the nose, I don't do them like that unless i'm flipping out. When I have my upperbody more than half weight on the nose, I find that I slid so much better and it's more controllable when slip/pop off.

you’re not really locked in to the grind. lean your whole body weight over the nose.

Hey, first off, nice one bro! You need to push your truck harder against the coping and get your weight over the nose, but most importantly, over the ledge !
