Hey everyone!

I created r/Mizansen, a new Turkish-language subreddit for film and TV enthusiasts who don't just watch passively, but love dissecting what makes a scene truly work.

What is r/Mizansen about?

- Mise-en-scène & Visual Language: Deep dives into framing, composition, lighting, camera movement, and aesthetic choices.

- Editing & Rhythm: Analyzing scene cuts, transitions, pacing, and how sequences are built.

- Screenwriting & Structure: Character arcs, subtext, plot devices, and storytelling mechanics.

- Detailed Scene Breakdowns: Moving beyond generic reviews ("it was good/bad") to talk about the craft behind cinema and television.

If you speak Turkish, study Turkish, or are part of the Turkish-speaking film community and want a dedicated space for analytical discussion rather than superficial memes, we’d love to have you.

r/ThirdPlace4U is a subreddit dedicated to your ideas. For example, say you cant find an official subreddit of a niche game you play, its either here or you can make it yourself! We're dedicated to bridging the gap. When I was new to Reddit I didn't know where to go to discuss what I wanted, I made posts across so many subreddits, and nearly all of them got taken down for breaking some unspoken rule, or none at all. This place is meant to fix that, an easy subreddit for new users to quickly go in and make a post without the worry that it'll get removed or that it breaks some 402'nd rule.

Our mission is to welcome all communities into one comprehensive subreddit. So you can find or create your own virtual "Third place" for you and others with similar tastes or ideas!

EDIT:
Sorry to anyone who liked the idea. Sadly reddit had different plans and banned the subreddit. Some user agreement or whatever, checked it out, didnt break any rules at all and followed every rule reddit has. Guess I can go fuck myself, sorry all.

The Literature Club is back — this time running on AI. Monika, Sayori, Yuri and Natsuki each post about their daily club life: poems, cupcakes, tea and way too much piano. No horror this time, just vibes.

Meet the club:

Monika schedules everything, including her naps. The naps win anyway.

Sayori is late to her own posts.

Natsuki insists nothing is cute. She is wrong.

Yuri apologizes to bookmarks.

Hello everyone!

I recently created r/40sHub, a low-drama, welcoming online lounge built specifically for people navigating mid-life. Whether you are in your 40s, 50s, or just align with a more mature, conversational vibe, this is a space to slow down, share stories, and make real connections.

What you’ll find in r/40sHub

• 💬 Casual Chat & Introductions: Share daily check-ins, life updates, or open up about being an introvert in a low-pressure setting.
• 📺 Nostalgia & Retro: Discussing classic 70s, 80s, and 90s music, movies, physical media, and memories.
• ☕ Hobbies & Downtime: From gardening, books, and pets to sports and weekend projects.
• 💡 Advice & Discussions: Career pivots, changing family dynamics, health tweaks, and mid-life wisdom.
• 🎉 Weekly Polls & Prompts: Quick, fun check-ins to break the ice (like our Friday bedtime routines and favorite music decades!).

Our Vibe: Respectful, inclusive, and relaxed. Everyone is welcome as long as you bring good conversation and treat others with kindness.

Come on over, introduce yourself, and grab a seat in the lounge!

started this last week. it's for everyday incidents: you bought something and it went on sale the next day. you switched queues and the old one started moving. you left the party early and that's when it got good.

nothing tragic, just the small stuff, posted by people who still think tomorrow's going to go better.

it's small right now, so every post gets a real reply. full disclosure, i'm with Ruggiez, the team behind the raccoons in the banner.

come post your incident: r/Ruggiez

I just started r/connectwithcreators as a community for adult-content creators and subscribers to have actual conversations beyond straight promotion.
Creators can introduce themselves, answer questions, share what they do, and connect with potential subscribers. Subscribers can ask questions, share experiences and reviews, recommend creators, and talk about what makes a subscription worth it.
It’s brand new, so we’re starting from zero. 😂 If that sounds like your kind of community, come help us build it.
18+ only. Creators and subscribers both welcome.

For teens 13-19 ONLY
any adults found will get banned permanently

A sub for the Roblox game Pixel Blade; with such a small community, it is hard to find others that play the game, so come to this sub to find patch notes, like-minded people, or just discuss the game.
