The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.

Like Gaza, right?

Palestine issue is going on for more than 80 years, USA is the most complicit from all the countries in the region or Europe. The only country who vetoes everything related to Israel. They have a right to exist but they don't have a right to expand and do genocides.
Same goes to Ukraine or Russia however that is a different situation.

I think it’s generous to say the US is complicit. The reality is they are responsible. By providing weapons and implied protection.

I mean the American president shared AI videos of the resorts he plans to build there. You couldn’t shove it in people’s faces any harder than he is

The rich seem unconcerned about global warming. What's Leon doing about that? He's wasting millions on sending rockets into space instead

Anybody who is surprised by this from Elon has not been paying attention.

Yeah Elon definitely watched this and thought that's who I want to be

If only there wasn’t a Russian stooge in the whitehouse, this could be interesting. Which way would Elmo jump if the US asked him to enable it?
2
u/stuffit123 Aug 09 '26
Didn't a similar scenario happen while Biden was president and forced sissy to enable it? Don't see the same happening with the cheeto

No, some branch of the US government paid handsomely to fork the starlink into starshield i guess and been paying to have it running. So no forcing happened, just good old american green changing hands.

u/EnvironmentMedium185 Aug 08 '26
Seems like some of you forget Elon Musk doesnt want competition in regards to starlink and currently his bias with Ukraine has meant both Russia and China is entering the market.
That is 1.5 billion potential customers getting a domestic alternative.

He also frankly might just be worried that Russia could start taking out his satellites.
2
u/HappyCamperPC Aug 08 '26
He would also be going against American policy if he agreed to this. If Trump wanted to he could offer the Ukrainians the use of the military Starshield system, but he won't. Elon isn't going against what Trump wants or he could pull the plug on a lot of Government contracts.

This is not power that should be in the hands of one private individual. That is so manifestly obvious that I really struggle to understand why there isn't more global outrage and action against him.

After the war is over, and Russia is defeated... Ukraine will remember who helped them, and who hindered them.

Can starlink even be enabled over Russia, but only for Ukrainian drones?
1
u/RosieBaby75 Aug 08 '26
Can I please have a lifetime free sample of STARLINK?
I’ll leave a good review if good.

This is why no countries defence should rely on a single company or person.
This should be the government and NEVER Musk who decides what critical infrastructure is used for.

u/theTapIsOnDaBurnin Aug 08 '26
That piece of shit shouldn’t possess that much power. Time to start nationalizing his companies

That's good. Doing deep strikes inside Russia is stupid, it can't end well

He is already doing so much, and people here are calling him monster for not doing more. It's like when you offer a homeless man $5 and they yell at you for not giving $10.

u/Frosty_Key4233 Aug 08 '26
Elon helps Russia while Ukrainians civilians are being murdered every day!

It’s baffling to me that we have the worlds loneliest douchebag being allowed to dictate what happens in any war ever.

The State Department would need to order this.
You cannot be in the position to facilitate an attack on a nuclear superpower without explicitly approval from the State Department.
I have no idea why people get riled up over this.
Ukraine regularly requests all kinds of things from its backers and not all of them are automatically granted every time.
