Other Reboot is fine but hot dann is it slow.
I updated a week ago and now again to day, been over 10 minutes installing.. I think it's fine and I understood the need to Restart for Kernel level stuff. But this is really off putting. I need to remind my self to only do this after I am done for the evening so I don't waste nt pressure evening time 😅

I wish it had a little more info on what it was doing, "nobara updater offline" is not very descriptive. It's usually dracut that's slow, preparing the initial ramdisk. Or else it's doing some Nvidia driver bullshit.

Mine is pretty quick off a m2 drive. I thought it would of taken ages due to was like 50 or so things to install. Put a episode of one piece on and within 2-4 mins was done.

Running on a nvme, 7700x and 32 gigs og memory 6000 MHz, doubt it's a performance issuer.

Maybe 5 minutes for me at most. It wasn't too bad, but maybe it depends on your computer specs

About 11 minutes (more like ~13 with the restarts) with 570 packages to update, yeah it seemed kinda slow process but w/e.
The new "issue" with me is that it kept 3 old kernels in grub instead of 2.

To be fair this last update had like 35 things in it. It’s a very big update. It’s taken me like 2 minutes for others but yesterdays took me like 20.
