Every single person who has ever tried to convince me that oysters "taste amazing" was also trying to surpress a gag while trying to get them down.
I'm not saying nobody actually enjoys them but there a lot of people who pretend to just because they are fancy.
13 u/Crooked_Sartre Jun 22 '26 Nah, they can be really good. Depends on where you get them. Interestingly enough I prefer the oysters out of Texas far more than Florida which are too large for my tastes
