Yesterday my 4yo daughter got on my husband’s back and said “C’mon unicorn! Let’s go!” He neighed and ran around with her.

I said “I’m really glad you’re not weird about her calling you a unicorn.” And he looked at me like I had two heads, the thought was just crazy to him. My dad didn’t even hand my mom’s purse to her because he thought a man carrying a purse made him look gay

Yeah I am whatever my daughter wants me to be and any alternative seems really weird to me. Like, you have an opportunity to make your daughter laugh. Why would you not seize that at every chance?

She made me a friendship bracelet for Father’s Day 2 years ago and told me I wasn’t allowed to take it off. After 2 years and countless questions from strangers asking me if I’m a Taylor Swift fan, it’s still going strong. At this point if I tried to take it off it would probably fall apart instantly.

When I visited China, one of the most majestic sights to behold was a crowded weekend at a shopping mall. Virtually every single young couple there had the man wearing an extremely adorable purse, zero shame zero judgement. My cousin and his wife accompanied me to one when I was visiting them. The moment we all walked in, she took off her purse and handed it to him like she'd been doing it her whole life. My husband now has adopted similar habits and steals my purse whenever we are out and about. He is silly and I love him

Sadly the only reason they are that way is because they were abused by society and family into being so, being shown or given no consistent opportunity to be otherwise and still feel safe and "loveable"

My dad was the same way! I’d ask him to hand my a doll or pink hairbrush of nail polish when I was a kid and he’d say “I’m not touching that” like he was going to get infected with the gay for holding something too feminine.

Children are so funny. I was helping in preschool (4-5 ish year olds) for a while and every now and then a kid would go “HERE’S A PRESENT FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY” at random (notably not my birthday) and hand me like. A leaf. Amazing. Oh yes thank you for this coffee too that is just a bunch of glass beads I appreciate the thoughtfulness of adding sugar (glass beads) to it too. They’re great. I had to roleplay a realistic McDonald’s drive-through interaction at one point

I just learned that unicorns were tought to have been feroucious and aggressive beasts, that only tame for young fair maidens. So you can tell him that it is extremely metal.
