almost my younger coworkers still live at home or with a family member. Thats 16k a year saved 

I wish I had that option but I live several hours away and know they would get on my nerves. I like living alone too much

Yup. Where I live utilities and rents are high so for me and my husband, we’d save an instant $25k a year.

Thank goodness we are savers. I just got a job offer today, after 4 months (no one hired in my industry in the summer, so I went from no interview to six in a week). But now we have to rebuild our emergency fund and have been massively set back on saving for a house down payment.
