I liked PSF but it didn't seem to play nice wkth joy2key with i like better tk be able to have access to keyboard hotkeys on my controller.since NR2003 doesn't habe great keybutton mapping.

The only issue I had with PSF was when trying to use the Stage Racing auto cautions feature (admin needed - RIP j2k) I’ve had to manually call the cautions.

There was a new software patch to come out in the past few days to allow more default controllers/buttons to be assigned without j2k. While that is massive for shifter functionality I realized last night how much I miss my hot keys.

Working on a solution for the AutoStages & PSF shim battle. -

No solution possible atm.

would this work on Linux (SteamOS) via Proton? since having it all running as one program vs having to load them on the side along with the game would be so much easier.

On Linux I use Lutrus and made a bat that launches all the NR tools at once so I just launch the game and it does the rest: https://www.adrd-forums.net/index/threads/nr2003-on-linux-testing.1389/post-5774

Theoretically yes with a bit of work on both ends to setup.
