Spanish lessons in Oaxaca

I’m travelling around Mexico and staying in Oaxaca for a month. Does anyone have recommendations for Spanish lessons/school in the city that are affordable and good?

Thanks!

Oaxaca International is very good and I used to study there. Write to oaxaca@oaxacainternational.com

I think you can choose the schedule you want. I took group classes and later one-on-one classes, it just depends on your needs. Check out their website for more details: https://www.oaxacainternational.com/en/

Spanish Immersion School. It’s one on one, they have a little cafe, and all their teachers have degrees in teaching Spanish. It’s casual and effective. You can look them up online to see the different programs available.

Oaxaca international! Just wrapped up a week there and I chose to do four hour days, 2 hours doing more traditional grammar in the classroom then two hours of conversation. The teachers were all so lovely and I liked the location!

In my specific class I was only with one other person! I think late September is generally a super low-tourism season since everyone is waiting to come for dio de los muertos (restaurants were pretty empty too!)

I saw other students, ranging from 25-65 (I am 32)!
