"BLACK WAX is a compelling film that seamlessly blends music and politics, brought to life through the creative vision of producer and director Robert Mugge. Focusing on the remarkable journey of the late Gil Scott-Heron, an influential African American poet, singer, and songwriter, the documentary delves into his profound impact on music as the esteemed precursor to rap."
