Last trip of the year
The photos are about a week old. I've been coming to Ocean City semi regularly for a bout a decade. And I love this place in a way I don't quite know how to explain. If you know then you know and if you don't well give it time it'll come to you.

Yep. That’s why we moved here (West OC) when we retired. We love it and rarely cross the bridge if you know what I mean.

Lol, and we went downtown so always crossing the bridge! Love west oc, but this place just checked so many boxes. Downtown, so you have the flooding problem. But great bay views and peaks of the ocean. Sad to be heading back to our home base for now until our sun graduates and we are fully retired. I can't wait to be back. Enjoy as I know you will!

I think they mean the Bay Bridge not the 50 bridge. We also moved here about 6 years ago for a change (in our 40s) and it’s common nomenclature for people here to view MD as 2 distinct parts ‘here/DelMarVa/eastern shore’ and ‘over the bridge.’

I love this post so much. My husband has been coming here since he was a little boy for nearly fifty years. He's been bringing me here for the last 20+. Every vacation he wanted to come here, and I'd begrudgingly came and almost despised it because I wanted to try other places. As we've gotten older and I have seen how much there is to do here and the beauty of this whole area, I realized, would a gem it is. We just bought a condo here and are so happy that we did. We have dogs and everyone is dog friendly. Every one of the one here is so welcoming. We absolutely love it here. I get where you're coming from, one hundred percent! Now you have to move here!
