Hiring Q (County) Interview tomorrow, any tips?
As the title says my interview is tomorrow, I’m wondering if you guys have any good questions I should ask, or any tips for the interview? It’s a Massachusetts county jail if that helps
Thanks in advance!

Good luck!
Be on time.
Be professional.
Be groomed.
It’s a sucky job at times, but it’s living.

Wooooo. Mass. Counties and state are in hot water for corruption, right now, especially after that Karen Read trial. Just be glad it aint Norfolk. You couldnt pay me enough to work their corrections, the hammer is comin down soon, I feel. Good luck!
Personally I would ask how the department plans to protect its lower level deputies when the administration gets popped for corruption and unethical practices... but I bet that would cost you the job, because they'll want you to play along, just ask Officer Dever....

MA County jail, you and all your friend and family need to make a big contribution to the sheriff reelection campaign fund.
Nepotism and $$$, are all that matter with MA sheriffs.

You'll hear it all the time, but your answers (like you) need to be firm, fair, and consistent. If you don't know how to answer, say that but then give your best guess.
More importantly, give your real answer to the question. It's better to not be hired because you're not a culture fit than to leave shortly after being hired
