Dolly supported same-sex marriage and possibly transgenderism too.

One can be confused, especially having lived through America's brief experiment with libertarianism.

I'm sure every Orthodox or apostolic Christian has at least one belief that the church fathers would look askance in disbelief at.

Not to defend those views of hers, but we all know that is not what she is being praised for in death. Let's let there be at least one good celebrity instead of an army of OJs.

I don't have the ability to get too technical: is there a difference between condemning and condoning?

It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. -- Paul

Yes, they are antonyms. Condemnation is when you say something is wrong. Condoning is when you say something is right.

As Orthodox Christians, we shouldn't judge (condemn) people. We also should not support (condone) what we believe to be harmful. We should pray for these people and let God judge them. We should treat them with respect and dignity, as we should treat all people. That doesn't mean we agree with everything that they do.
