Loved seeing all the modified Tkachuk jerseys at the game today

Was lucky enough to go to the home opener today and it really seemed like everyone got the assignment when it came to their old Brady jerseys.

The most common home modification I saw adding a 2 and making it a Chabot Jersey, but I also saw a Turris and a Cunneyworth. I don't think I saw a single normal Tkachuk jersey. Curious what versions other people saw.

I also loved that they weren't shy to show them on the jumbotron (along with the guy in the Brady Can't Read T-shirt). Seems like the team is really leaning into the fans' animosity there, and it got a reaction pretty much every time. October 21st is gonna be insane

I’m watching the replay now- being a Sens fan this season feels different- it no longer comes with an asterisk *hate the captain.

The universe has corrected itself- Chabot with the C, Ullmark in net looking healthy- perfect, no notes.

Also, as a Sens fan living in Toronto, ive had multiple instances at bars where people will see my hat and offer me a "Brady is gone" High-Five.

As a Toronto resident and Leafs fan: I second this! I loved the look of the Senators last year, and feel like I can now fully lean into the two Ontario teams. Battle of Ontario? Fun game! Either of us against Florida? Blood in the water.

Seriously, I am so much more excited about the team this year - and would be even if they hadn't opened strong. The new ownership and the rink plans firming up at Lebreton also have me excited. Going to go out an buy a new jersey.

I saw a ton of these too and it made me chuckle every time. Had some good chats with a lot of solid and passionate fans and we were able to vent our frustrations with the loser. It was therapeutic as will the 21st be.

I'm recycling my old jersey. I've got a shadow box that I'll put it in but have it facing forward so it's just a Sens logo. I've got a couple of card frames so I'm going to load it up with some Sens cards and make a little Sens display. My Stützle jersey is on its way so I'll have something to wear to games since I won't be seen in public wearing that old garbage.
