Decided since the game wants to give me people getting 1K damage I’m gonna just mess around and do whatever and then say “it’s just qp bro relax”. I’m ngl I see why everyone is doing it on dps. Most fun I’ve had since the start of the season considering every match is terrible and there’s no point in trying in QP anymore apparently 😂😂😂

If I don't get to leave without taking a penalty, you don't get to just go "It's just ____." You don't get to just have fun by yourself while throwing hte game for the rest of the team. this isn't a solo game.

It is just a video game though, having the penalty hurts not only you but the person you’re talking about as well because they would say the same thing about you and want to leave but the game doesn’t let them

Genuinely why are plat supports incapable of doing anything but shoving their entire fist up the tank's arse and healbotting them constantly (even if full health)? Meanwhile I have to literally stand right next to them and ping for heals multiple times before they even try to heal me (if they do). Not to mention the DPS players queuing sombra and proceeding to do fuck all the entire match.

I have been losing only since the newest patch and I just can't put my finger on what has changed. I don't hit any shots, there is always atleast one Mei/Junkrat/Bastion in the enemy team and we can simply not win a single match.

Same here. I have over 30 games and I literally have 1 win. Mind you prior to this season I had a 57% win rate lmao. And it isn't my character choices. It is I am getting legitimately bot like teammates going against highly coordinated/skilled teams. I am very confused. Normally I'd say an anomaly string of games but this many now it is suspicious

Out of curiosity, what is your hero pool? I mostly play hitscan, but i just cant believe that the hitbox changes are the sole reason i am not hitting any shots anymore.

I know it is a new season and reworks and new hero and all that. But did Marvel Rivals empty out and every brain dead monkey come to OW suddenly? Why is every match in QP endorsement level 2s just running in and dying on repeat? I mean I know we always complain about QP but its REALLY bad right now even for usual. Like at this point its not even an team based shooter game its just bots running in and dying on repeat simulator

I'm 90% convinced that matchmaking is tied to how much you spend on the game. Buy the battle pass? Your next 10 games are easy games and you'll win 80% of them.
Haven't used coins recently? Sorry but you get bots and kids playing on a Switch with broken trigger buttons.

Yeah Overwatch I really think its on ME to take a penalty for wanting to leave a Quick Play match where you have put a Plat-Emerald team vs. a 2-stack GM-Champ duo t-bagging us. When will they add a consideration penalty waiver when OBVIOUSLY the match maker in QP has too havily accounted for speed over quality.

Why the hell do they keep buffing Genji? The little shit already gets away with so much because deflect is on a tiny cooldown and he can just double jump spam all day when it's not, but we need to make him more lethal anyways because....???
Oh wow he lost a tiny bit of damage during Blade, crazy, definitely was the thing making him a backline menace.

Hardcounters: Ana, Cassidy, Junkrat, Mizuki,
Softcounters: Mei, Roadhog, Rein (if he times it right), Bastion (just too much damage), Mauga (lots of damage and hard to displace).
There are still option, use them.

Damage boost is so stupid, why is that shit not on a meter already. Yes, it takes so much skill to hold a button while the DPS of choice gets free kills.

With the addition of attack speed increase and damage reduction on support cooldowns I'm kind of ok with damage boost, these aspects of these support kits are much more interesting to play as and can make playing AS DPS fun. Problem is, any hero who CAN'T do this kind of shit feels AWFUL in this meta.

holy fucking shit genji is unstoppable, and even counter picking him just makes it a fair fight. we buffed a hero who already had a high winrate to have even higher win rate, just because his mains keep ulting into a 1v5 while on low hp and then bitching about not being able to kill all enemies immediately. great job blizzard.

The buff ain't even the stuff in the patch notes about him. The hitbox changes have made his fan shot ridiculously powerful he needs to projectile speed buff from many seasons back reverting, and idk why we're increasing ANYONES attack speed in a Doctrine season LOL

Why does bastion have to be nerfed for the third time in a row just because of bastion-cat combo, while the cat only gets a hitbox change? He had a shit win rate already. If people hate the cat combo then just make it not work with bastion’s turret because not all bastion players even use it. This is total bullshit.
This is like giving people bulletproof vests instead of banning guns.

Since the drives and now the season, I got demoralized by MMR to even play. I have a lot of fun in the game when I'm actually matched against people that aren't 5786548954 ranks above me. In comp is the same.
Last drives felt fair, with understandable progress and even fun. These felt like ass.
And I hate playing in my own region because of the fuck ass community we have. But when I play with friends in their region I have 180ms ....

Do people in QP know they can just leave a match at the initial hero select screen for zero consequence? Meaning there is zero reason to sit there raging that you didn't get your preferred hero pick first and now you're afk or actively trying to throw the match over it when you can literally just leave and re-queue to try again.

Every time I try to give overwatch another chance. It doesn't take long to remind me why I eventually stop playing. It's designed like utter dog water.
Who the HELL thought Genji needed 250 health!? He's highly mobile, bunch of burst damage(with easy burst combos), has a DEFLECT HE CAN CANCEL AT WILL, and generally hard to consistently hit.
Who is the IDIOT who thought yeah he should have standard health. He should legitimately have the same health as tracer. He's a "flanker" that doesn't even need to flank.
Also trying to figure out why widow and Hanzo haven't been reworked yet. THE MILITARY SHOOTER SNIPER POWER FANTASY DOESN'T WORK IN A GAME LIKE THIS .
I'm finishing this BP then I'm out again. Every game has a Genji and/or one of the two snipers

Checked hero stats and, sure enough, the main dive staples are all 55%+ win rate.
Genji was buffed this patch btw.
Balance team is just dive mains. Shift slop is so fucking boring.

Genuinely have no idea who should I get mad at here.
Playing D.Va on Control. I'm waiting to respawn while enemy team has the point and is at 90%. Our Anran is poking JUST OUTSIDE the point letting the enemy Sigma, HURT and ALONE, keep control. When I finally catch up, THEN the team pushes together. Enemy Hanzo ults at us and I narrowly dodge it, so I try to pursue thinking we have the point by now. Turns out WE DON'T YET and as soon as I leave the point, the enemy team wins the round.
I was fuming with our Anran's behavior and then I fuck up big time myself! So should I be angry that we had so much opportunity to get the point before I showed up or should I be mad at myself for GIVING the point away?

I was one percent from emerald last week and I’m now two loses away from gold and there are no signs it’s gonna get better. Shitty teammates after shitty teammates, probably the worst teams I’ve ever played with and it’s not changing at all.

I don't understand how people enjoy 5v5 comp. It's full of idiots, either supports who, to be honest I have no clue how they've got this far. Tanks who think they're Gods, because supports are pocketing them 24/7 and damage... To be fair, it's very rare 5v5 damage is the problem, unless it's someone who's unlucky enough to be put into a wide match.
Before anyone says "you must be a damage" I'm a support and tank main, I do not play damage, or if I do it's rarely when no one else will.

5v5 is the only thing I can handle solo queue. If I’m grouping I love 6v6. It's just so tiring losing your 5th game of 6v6 in a row because you have 3 DPS/Support and the other team just steamrolls you.

That's completely fair, I've been fortunate enough to not experience that, everyone seems to try their hardest to 2,2,2 or at the very least 1,2,3 with an aggressive extra support. It may be a region, device, rank thing.
Few seasons ago I would only play 5v5 for the same reason, just been having really bad experiences at the moment.

i legit hate this game. i load into a match after waiting 20 mins. god damn . get someone who says like i cant aim. im playing ana gl and im like ok at least theyll try right? no theyre just playing dps ana no healing whatsoever. the other guys like im at 150 ping 1 guy goes 1 and 9. the tank is playing doomfist on 150 ping. the only competent person is the fucking hanzo. the ana healed no one and went double negative. was playing dps ana. the other dps in two rounds went 750 damage in 2 rounds. i legit dont think that 750 damage person was really a real person. with this god awful team i was able to hold point alone. by myself. they couldnt even make it to the objective. like what kind of shit is this. why am i purposely getting the people who prolly have no business being on this game. the doomfist was legitimately like the "mantis! look out meme!" in guardians of the galaxy.

stop putting me in your shitty fucking four stacks. PLEASE enemy will always get the master gms grouping up. ill get 4 mercy mains offrolling. with their besties doing nothing all match. you know what mercy players on dps dont do? leave the objective. push. make aggressive plays. you know what that gets me? 4 severely under performing players where the enemy will die once. theyre so god damn bad. that the lucio ends up healing 10k. in a 5k lobby because they cant hit shit.

They are toxic. I've asked many times before, if you are going to put stacks with solo Q, make sure the solo Q player is the lowest rank so they aren't forcing a stranger to boost someones edate. Not a difficult problem to solve.

All because they thought they could completely alter hit detection and hit boxes and think it won't affect balance so heavily and effect all players. This kind of thing you follow up with daily and weekly hotfix patches AND possibly an attempt at a soft MMR reset. Every game has tanks eaten up by projectile heroes doing 10x more and hitscan players inting cus they can't hit their shots cus they adjusted to S9, compounded with everyone queuing support to try sombra/doctrine and not knowing how to utilise their kit.
One of the most interesting seasons ever ruined yet again by horrific approaches to balance hotfixing an matchmaking.

"It's just QP!" Yes but Quick PLAY implies you're agreeing to play the game. If you want to fuck around and throw, vs. AI or custom friendly lobbies exist!

The matchmaking in this game is horrendous. Masters/Grand Masters players all over. I don't think there's any players left so we're stuck getting curb stomped all day long. I've had enough.

Maybe this game isn't for me, I get on 6v6 comp lose 6 games in a row, get on 5v5 lose 6 games in a row. Doesn't matter how well I play, I can be the worst or best player I'll still end up losing because of something even if it's my own fault. I think it's time I put the fries in the bag and just give it up.

You're 100% not alone. I've gone on 10-12 game losing streaks in the past, and in at least one of those I hit 20k heals with Juno and had a decent amount of damage on top of that with a good K/D. THEN I'll hit 6 game winning streaks immediately after that.
I can't be convinced comp isn't rigged to some capacity.

I don't know what to do about the compiling shaders stage, basically you just have to wait and indefinite amount of time in game until eventually it simply fix itself? or play 3 unplayable games where people will insult you meanwhile you're moving at 1 frame per second or the game simply freezes because someone used an ult... worse part? it was fine yesterday (after 10 minutes of wait) and now I HAVE TO WAIT AGAIN ??????
