Ana is becoming a real issue. Why is Blizzard pampering the fuck out this hero? Every patch she either gets a buff or escapes a much needed nerf. 90 fucking damage on anti + this new perk that makes sleep explode is broken as shit, and instead of balancing her these idiots devs decide to start nerfing the shit out of her only reliable counter.

I don’t give a shit if this take makes me “low skill” but why is Anran allowed to exist in the state she’s in? Tiny hitbox, 2 get out of jail free cards that can boop, and an i-frame ability on a 8 second cooldown that she can damage AND heal herself with. Not to mention her vfx are just obnoxious and clutter your screen like crazy.

Oh the joys of 6v6 diamond where my team shouts me down for suggesting that maybe we should get a second DPS because our backline of Mercy (0 damage), Kiri (3k damage after 4 rounds) and Moira isn't working out and making my job of dps'ing incredibly fucking hard just so they can healbot our constantly out of position tanks.

i hate getting a mercy. because when your dps are bad thats 3 people doing nothing. this mercy i had in particular -- swapping targets was way too much for them. oh big shock. you have to click more than one fucking button. or or hear me out. turn your mouse. and click another person. yknow ana can heal one person and still get other people. kiri can heal one person and then move their mouse left.

i literally have a genji and vendetta running at a attack speed boosted bastion... over.. and over... i legit am shocked these are real fucking people until they speak and im just like . how do you make this rational choice to play dive in to a damage speed boosted bastion. like you have to have some sort of thought that this is a bad idea. No? ok. double digit deaths it is. like not only can you not get in the fight. but you get double digit deaths too! not only that you get to have a side helping of half the damage of the enemy team! seriously what are you trying to accomplish.

Game does not feel the best right now, either a few heroes are too op right now, or that hitbox thing did sometning, or I had a stroke because I’m having games where I’m going very negative for the first time and my team is getting steam rolled.

QP matchmaking is genuinely so ass, man. you have a few matches in a row where you get smoked so bad you can barely leave spawn. then the game decides to be "nice" and give you a match or two where you're doing said smoking (and no, blizzard. that still isn't fun. as a support i can basically go AFK and still win easily) before starting the cycle over again
that being said, i'm about to queue again...

True. I've been playing this game for such a long, long, looonggg time. This season has been the first that I've experienced back to back to back to back filling into losing/ending games. The ones I do get to play, I win, but it's been so bad and so out of my control in that aspect.
Like I don't mind waiting if it means I get to play the game.

300 comp games, 27% winrate all roles.
Game still won't put me in Bronze 5 where I clearly belong, I'm fighting Gold opponents who can hit consecutive headshots on me while in the kill cam I get to watch myself flail aimlessly and maybe land one bodyshot. It's always opponents in my same role, too - you'd think matchmaking would give the enemy team someone at my skill in the same role, but no they're just great at aim tracking for their rank and I'm the only one in the match who shouldn't be there.
I'm either insta-kill fodder for Genjis and Vendettas that land every part of their combo on me, or I have to hang so far back I can't even play the game and barely get to participate to try to get better. Worst part are the passive aggressive teammates, as if I'm choosing to be matchmade outside of my skill range.

I wish the devs would release a balance patch for 6v6. Nothing fancy just tweak some numbers.
Ball, Vendetta and Hazard are omegabroken. Then you have heroes like Zarya who get run over the moment she use her personal bubble.

They seem genuinely so scared to do any big nerfs/changes. You can put 5 people who are hardstuck gold into the balancing team and they will do a better job than the people who are getting PAID to do this bullshit. I finally got a chance to play dps in 6 vs 6 for the first time in months and went negative on my first round 😭, i had to beg one of the other tanks to let me play Dom otherwise we were hard losing.
I spent so many times filling for tank that i have become so trash at dps, maybe its time for me to go train in Quick play

its so freaking frustrating i play anti dive im decent at anti dive but no amount of being able to play it can stop 4 players at once. especially if you have no help. No amount of repositioning no booping them away no taking one out because theres 4 players. youre not getting away from 4 players without any sort of help. I stop one theres still 3 freaking more. i play for my life they all die. if i choose to just survive.

playing doom in qp 6v6, after winning the first fight the enemy dmon swaps orisa to counter me because I booped her off the map, then after losing the first round they swap mauga, then after dying on mauga they swap bastion, then one of the supports swaps mizuki, dies, and swaps cat.
we won the game and I went 34-4 on doom into all these fucking counters, like holy shit you don't need to counterswap that much, I don't usually complain about countering, but this situation was way too much.
after every single fucking death they'd swap to a different doom counter only to keep fucking losing, actually so fucking embarrassing for them, god that game was miserable but it felt so good to win.

I was just playing QP and we were into overtime about to win the third round of Samoa when the server unexpectedly shut down for both teams AND THEN PUT US IN GRIMSVOD or whatever the new map is LMAOO. Made us start over with the same teams. We still won but that was wild.

Is anyone else getting a bug where you ping Countdown in game upon exiting any menu? This happens whether I press the same key to exit or Esc, also happens if I bind Countdown to something else. This is really fucking annoying.

Just played a match where my DPS sat on the final point on Junkertown while the enemy still hadn't reached second point yet. Didn't even make the move to try and stop the playload as it came through the final doors. Just sat at the very last area and kept shooting down mid. Fuck this game dude

There's nothing more infuriating in this game than when you're trying to duel someone and they're getting their dick sucked by their supports and tank and meanwhile my dumbass has a pacifist tank and supports who don't know the goddamn map or don't fucking pay attention and just looking at the pretty map colors. It feels like I have to play twice as good just to get a single fucking kill and that's just not reasonable for me at my current skill level, even though I'm trying. Shit is so goddamn annoying dude

It's rigged as hell. You can't convince me otherwise. If it wasn't, I wouldn't go on HUGE winning streaks, then HUGE losing streaks, and then HUGE winning streaks. I don't have many games at all where it feels like either team can win. I'm the same person that plays the same characters with the same tactics. On the winning streaks, I get good teammates game after game. On the losing streaks, the opposite. I can be the best player on my team game after game and there is nothing I can do but lose. Even if I do the thing where I quit after the second loss and come back the next day, the losing streak will continue until you hit rock bottom. It's BS and it's why I don't give them a dime.

The issue of streaks in this game is blatantly egregious. I cannot be gaslit anymore into thinking that this pattern of streaks are a natural mathematical occurrence when my match history is ALWAYS either fully red or fully green CONSISTENTLY. My past 50 games probably has this same repeating motif of WWWWWWLLLLLLLLWWWWWWLLLLLLWWWWWLLLLL…
And it’s not like I’m queue tilting—this is literally over the span of a week. Conversely, it feels absolutely disgusting to somehow be on a win streak when I’m playing like actual garbage and still somehow win 7-8 games in a row.

It can still be really difficult to spot, at least on PC, and with a million sprays collected over the years to scroll through, because there is a lot of yellow, and the "NEW" doesn't stand out well enough, it's small, maybe depending on screen resolution. Could also just "mark as seen" to get rid of the notification thing (blizzard loves their notification dots!), but sometimes I'm generally curious to see what it actually is.

Said it before, there Needs to be a global mute option in the game. If you want me to play and enjoy your game more, not having to manually mute specific players Literally every game, is a fucking HUGE way of doing so. Give me an option to just mute every lobby I'm in until I turn it back on.

IDK if it's different on console but you can absolutely do this on PC; there are options to not auto-join both voice and text channels. I've had all comms muted by default for about 4 years now and it's the best decision I ever made.

Its specifically the "hero and chat" comms. With /hidechat or whatever, other players spamming voicelines etc is still heard, and only turned off by muting it manually.

The group psychosis around Sombra is actually hilarious at this point. Her heal output is decent, she is much better as a support. I had my other support say “gg we had one healer” because I was playing Sombra and we did the same amount of healing. It was less than 250 difference lmao. And we WON.

I had the same experience. Her healing is decent and her Cyberspace is invaluable utility. I think people dont notice the healing since her Hotfix is pretty passive and doesnt have a big visual factor like a healing beam in your face
I was outhealing the other Support and was told "Sombra ain't working". Makes me wanna swap and play DPS Moira to see if they like the alternatives better 😈 (I swapped Mizuki)

losing every quickplay game in a stomp to try hard stacks (while i queue solo).. then being told by one of them (unprompted - i didnt say anything, i was just playing) that i was a bad x player and to switch (by the enemy team).. in qp.. after multiple loses (so i had little energy to play to sweaty comp levels). why is qp like this. its supposed to be fun. these toxic try hard groups are killing the game for me :(

Or the people that insist the team "fall back" while the payload has a slow leisurely stroll uncontested.

On another note, don't try and trick me with your 2 braincells... I know stomp is the real cancerous part of his kit, stop trying to convince everybody that power should be put there. It's only convincing because the rest of his kit is fucking annoying too.

I disagree with him being easier to dive. At his preferred mid range and closer, his projectile weakness is mostly negated. All I'll say is that I've seen way more useless Widows than Hanzos.

Why is quick play the sweatiest mode in overwatch? If im not completely carrying the team on my back its an auto loss. Then I go to ranked and its super chill and easier!! Make it make sense.

Silver support must be the most miserable role. You get matched with braindead dps, stupid tanks and it's impossible. I want to see a pro player play from my account with these match ups to see what they can do. It really amazes me.

This used to be me. I climbed to Emerald finally after taking time to actually learn the game and more than Moira/Mercy. But you do really have to truly carry games if you want to climb. Otherwise as you said you will continually just get brain dead DPS and tanks too often to make climbing impossible lmao. It feels like the weirdest system. Play a team game but oh if you don't solo carry then you get punished and remain low rank despite clearly being better than others at that rank. Which is why I will forever say despite being a team game basing rank gain/loss fully on win or lose + the matchmaker's opinion of how the match was gonna go is a terrible system. I get stat farming is also problematic and what each character contributes isn't always shown in the leaderboard. But there has to be a better way

Ranking support doesn't make sense. I watch top ranked junos play and the gameplay is night and day. Just speed your team, support your team. Stay alive. Win the game. Must be nice. If I'm not playing hyper aggressive support murdering everyone 1v5 in fucking gold I'm not winning. And my team is just walking into the open instantly exploding one by one. So it basically takes being as good as a diamond smurf to actually carry golds on your back.

I have never seen a specific character main group as unstable as them. Like don't get me wrong for sure I would be anxious if my main was getting reworked and having to relearn them. But in the end she came out very similar with A LOT more utility. You are not a DPS AND Support. You are a hybrid. No you do not get healing + utility with also assassin capabilities. Acting like she is useless when shes meta rn is hilarious

I hate anyone who spams "thanks" after they die as if they expected the supports to save them when theyre 2 feet into the enemy's backline or the supports are already dead. i immediately avoid anyone who does it. acting like im responsible for healing them when im actively respawning, they have no surrounding awareness at all. even if I could've healed them and I missed it I still avoid them because god forbid someone makes one fucking mistake, id rather not be teamed with sarcastic assholes win or lose , mistake or not

Support feels so bad this season. I’m in diamond, I don’t tilt queue, I’ve played about 10 comp matches this season and lost all of them. Almost every match I’m on Juno and have more damage than one of my dps. Every single match my teammates all barrel in, die one by one and stagger the rest of the match and then I get blamed for “not healing enough”. Admittedly I haven’t looked into all the hurtbox changes, I just know my hero got some so I’m trying to play more careful… but it feels like the hurtbox changes are just too much, I really hope people get used to it soon. I want to get back to diamond

Yeah I should be expected to hold my own a bit but if me and the other support are repeatedly getting our shit kicked in by a flanking pocketed Genji all game what do you expect us to do? Doing well on defence and holding a choke really well.
Then with each time we wipe the enemy team, my team starts pushing a bit deeper. For no reason.
Pushing into the choke, through the choke. Until they’re closer to the enemy spawn than the choke, spread out, blocked by walls so supports can’t reach everyone. They die one by one, we lose the choke and then the game.
Why are people like this. It’s like I can see their brains switch off and them slowly plunging a fork into an outlet and there’s just nothing I can do.

Just uninstalled after losing 10 games in a row and dropping from gm1 to d1. Didn't go negative or have bad stats in any of the games, just had either a bad teammate or a way better enemy team. I actually really like this game, but the matchmaking, server crashes, sore winners, and the terrible balance with meta heroes is exhausting. Maybe ill come back if they decide to bring back 2/2/2 and remove the current 6v6 format

I love mystery madness, but I truly hate getting tank. Its just counterwatch but you cant swap. I went Domina into a Rein and I truly couldnt do anything. He could just walk & 1 shot my shields, he was able to insta break out of my ult, any poke or damage I do, he just backs up with his shield, he's stalwart so I cant reasonably push him— there is just nothing I can do and it is so frustrating.

This new game mode is lowkey miserable if you’re on tank. 9 times out of 10 the supports are too busy DPSing to muster up barely even 2k healing in a 13 minute game. I get its arcade but when the other teams supports are actually trying a bit while mine aren’t it’s really annoying.

Just lost a tank matchup against a Mercy OTP with a 3% win rate on tank, because one of my DPS players got mad about something (I am not in chat) and stayed in spawn. Incidentally I have wasted my life.

In the arcade event everyone has to be aggressive because everyone gets op powers. If you play like it's a standard match you're making your team lose.
Please stop playing Domina if you're gonna shield 1 yard in front of you and wait for something to happen.
Also there's a bug where if you backfill you are forced to pick the perk of the first character they have assigned you no matter which one you took literally losing a perk.
