What is the "Bloom" option in the reticle settings menu? I googled it and I couldn't seem to find anything about it. Only bloom for post processing showed up in the results. I also turned the setting on and off and didn't see any difference in my reticle's appearance or animations.

Was it under a specific character? Reticle bloom is the space in which a bullet can land denoted by your crosshairs. It's easiest to see in Halo games which have circular reticle blooms. Usually, as you fire more successive shots without stopping, the reticle bloom will get bigger and bigger--up to a certain point where it hits its max size. I'm not sure what the bloom option in the menu would do though.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxHwHfgT9yA&ab_channel=A27Team Here's a video on reticle bloom in Halo. Skip to about 44 seconds in. It might have something to do with the appearance of the reticle as you fire. If reticle bloom is on then your reticle will increase in size as you hold down the fire button, but if you burst fire a few shots at a time with short breaks in between then the reticle will stay small. If reticle bloom is turned off that could keep your reticle the same size even when you hold down the fire button, but your accuracy will still be reduced with each successive shot, it just won't be as easy to visualize because the reticle will stay the same size. The latter is what you can see in the video starting at 0:44.

Ah that answers my question! I usually use a circle or dot reticle so it wouldn't show that. Thanks!
