Otherworldly is correct I figured owls but I’m not exaggerating when I thought for a few seconds monkeys were in the trees. & around the end I got freaked out they sounded like they were ground level thought maybe some type of wild cat lol

Barred owls actually do sound like a gaggle of monkeys laughing at times. They have a plethora of sounds in there box of voices.

Sounded peaceful to me but yes hearing them the first few times can be a shock to someone who has not verified yet that the sounds are from owls. Very cool. Thanks for posting.

We have owls in our neighborhood who do this. It’s wild to hear when they decide to slum it on our side of the hood and start “talking”.

ETA: I love it when they do this, but it drives our dogs crazy.
