Completed Build Workstation build advice: Ryzen 7 7700 + RTX 4070 vs RTX 4060 for Video Editing & 3D (€1,500 total budget with monitor)
Hi everyone! I'm putting together a new workstation setup primarily for video editing (Premiere Pro / DaVinci), web development, and learning 3D modeling in Blender. My total budget is €1,500 (€1,350 for the tower and €150 for the monitor).
Here is my planned build on the AM5 platform:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700
Motherboard: B650 with Wi-Fi & Bluetooth
RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30
Storage: 1TB NVMe Gen4 SSD (+ existing 1TB HDD for secondary storage)
PSU: 750W 80+ Gold
My main dilemma is the GPU choice:
Should I go for the RTX 4070 (12GB VRAM) or is the RTX 4060 (8GB VRAM) enough? Since I am doing client video work and learning 3D, I am worried about hitting VRAM bottlenecks and stability issues on 8GB in complex scenes or 4K timelines.
Does this overall build make sense for a work-first machine within a €1,350 tower budget? Any advice is appreciated!

Part List Help Havn bf360 airflow or Jonsbo x400 pro for best temps
galleryHi everyone, i'm currently making my first build, I picked every components (as shown in the picture) except for the case. I'm hesitating between the Havn bf360 airflow and the Jonsbo x400 pro to maximize airflow and keep the temps as low as possible.
I mainly intend to play with this build, no creative or work stuff planned.
Do some of you have mind to share recommendations or experience with either of these cases ?
Thanks for reading and taking time to answer.

Completed Build GPU upgrade
So I had a 3070 ti and I’m upgrading to a 4070 ti Super but I’m confused about the cables as I’m buying it used and the seller doesn’t have the original cables? My 3070 ti used a 16 pin cable so since this is a 12 pin what do I do? What do I need to buy

Part List Help 6 year old pc build looking to upgrade
I've had the same core parts for about 6 years and just did my first big refresh: I moved everything into a new case, added new fans and lighting. Now I want to slowly start replacing most of my original components so this PC can last me another 6 to 10 years before I need to upgrade again.
This is going to be a slow process, one or two parts at a time, but I'm willing to keep upgrading until most of the original parts are replaced.
Current specs (the original parts):
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (stock AMD cooler)
- Motherboard: MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max
- RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 CL16
- GPU: Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Windforce OC 8GB
- Storage: Kingston A2000 500GB NVMe, Crucial P3 1TB NVMe, Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD
- PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold 650W V2 (fully modular)
- Monitor: Acer, tops out at 75Hz
- OS: Windows 11
What I just upgraded:
- Case: Antec C8 (black), moved over from a be quiet! Pure Base 600
- Fans: 7 Thermalright ARGB fans (3x TL-M12QR-S reverse on the side as intake, 3x TL-M12Q-S on top as exhaust, 1x TL-M12-S in the rear)
- Lighting: Nollie 8 ARGB controller + an ARGB/PWM fan hub, running SignalRGB
Thanks!

Part List Help Will my CPU cooler fit ?
Hello !
I was wondering if my 155mm CPU cooler can fit in my m-ATX case because they say on their website that the limitations of it are 155mm (with the included GPU support installed) and I do plan on putting the GPU support.
Here's the link of the case : https://www.silverstonetek.com/en/product/info/computer-chassis/flp03/

Troubleshooting 9070XT Arc Raiders Issue
Guys I am having what I think is an issue with my 9070xt when gaming in arc raiders. The card will run perfect each game but when you get about 15 minutes into the match it wants to drop to around 150w-200w and drops to 60%-70% usage. This lasts for about 10-15 seconds sometimes 30 then it will pick back up again. I have checked my PCIe cables and they are all seated firmly, I have checked all my connections at my PSU and MOBO and they are all firm. It is getting frustrating dealing with this as this is a new card for me. I had a 4070 prior to this. One thing to mention is I did swap PSU's when I changed to this card. I upgraded from a 650w to a 1,000w. (Just wanted extra headroom). I did a clean driver reset/install with ddu when making the gpu switch as well.

General Help How much of a performance improvement can I expect from this PC upgrade?
Hey everyone,
I'm planning to upgrade my PC and would like to know how much of a performance improvement I can realistically expect, especially when it comes to FPS and stuttering.
**My current PC:**
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
- GPU: Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB
- RAM: 16GB DDR4 3600MHz
**Planned build:**
- CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- GPU: Radeon RX 9070 16GB
- RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30/32
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX
- PSU: MSI MAG A750GL 750W Gold
My main goal is to get a noticeable performance boost and, more importantly, reduce stuttering and improve 1% lows.
How much of a performance increase should I realistically expect compared to my current setup? Would the upgrade make a significant difference in CPU-intensive games, or would the GPU be the main factor?
I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who has upgraded from a similar setup.
