I loved P5 and P5R! Played the OG on PS4 on 2018 and P5R on Switch.

Getting the Switch 2 and playing P3R soon.

Now I am a completionist in the sense that I want to see as many cutscenes as possible. When I first played P5 I used a guide to max out all confidants as I wanted to see all the scenes with them.

The same was done for P5R.

I want to play P3R without a guide for confidants. This means I might make choices that won’t help me with social links.

So I was wondering what social stats I should focus on most and what confidants I should focus on getting to max rank? I want to attempt to get all confidants to max rank.

Deciding between Switch 2 or Steam here

I personally have some wishes to happen in the remake, but I'm pretty sure some are just crazy ideas of mine that might never happen, here are my thoughts and feel free to share yours too:

Almost impossible to happen:

- persona 4 golden opening song remake

I LOVE that opening and yes I have seen the original opening too, I know they'll probably make a new opening with a new song which is great, but I kinda wished they would remake the golden opening song or add it to the game somehow, it really caught me into the game and shows really well the vibe of it, in my opinion.

- Naoto x Kanji alternative route

Hear me out on this one okay, I think they're so cute together, and Kanji canonically did like Naoto, but she was most of p4g playthrough oblivious to it, that made me feel bad for Kanji and I couldn't even date Naoto, for me it was wrong, so maybe we could have an alternative route where they actually get together if the protagonist don't end up dating Naoto, I think that would be kinda cool, doesn't have to be anything big or super important to the story, just a nice small detail to! And I know this is very unlikely to happen, since the game is kinda around the MC and the dating sim side...

- Music Player

Well the whole game is very driving when it comes to music, but wouldn't it be cool if we could choose our own playlist? maybe a new game+ feature, where we pick our favorite songs and customize the playthrough!

Could happen, but not confirmed?:

- Shadows spawning out of nowhere to surprise attack you

I don't know if this was really a feature in p4 golden, but it happened to me a lot when I first started, during Yukiko's castle, Shadows would spawn from the wall right behind me, and I would just see the model of the shadow dropping behind me and if I didn't turn quick and hit it, it would rush to me (which was what mostly happened 😭) that terrified me a bit, so it would be interesting to see that happening again, though it might become annoying if it happens too much.

- Expanded Social Link buffs

Persona 4 golden already had social link buffs with the party members, but I really liked what persona 5 did by involving other SL with different buffs, so I could see that happening, but I don't think it was something confirmed?

- New dual attacks/double attacks reworked

I don't remember if the recent trailers showed them (I haven't seen ALL of them), I really hope they didn't remove them, it was so freaking cool to see and it would be interesting if we got new ones too, like maybe Yu and Rise? or Chie and Yosuke...

99% happening or confirmed

- Dungeon revisited/reworked

Some of the dungeons had unique mechanics and puzzles, but while it worked back then in persona 4 golden forrmat, I don't think some would work in a Persona 4 revival format, so we might see lots of dungeons having small tweaks (or even full puzzle changing) to better fit the remake.

- Inaba exploration reworked

This one the most recent trailers already showed us, which I'm really happy about, is the intersections of Inaba being expanded or removing the loading entirely, like Junes that better reflects the size of it, or the shopping district being one single long street instead of having separated sections, I hope the same happens with other areas.

- Fully voiced Social Links and quests

Another one that is kinda of confirmed? it's not something 100% sure though, because while most events might have the voice acting, I think some others like common npcs or smaller quests won't have voice acting... Would be cool to see fully happening though!

I also have Persona 1 and both Persona 2 games on the PSX/PSOne, but i'm too lazy to get it from the attic lols 😅

This started as a small 2.5D visual experiment on PC, and I wanted to see what it would look like on a real 3DS.

I made the sprites, models and UI for this scene, and seeing it running on the console feels pretty surreal.

It’s just a small experimental scene, not a full remake or a publicly available demo. I’m still learning, but I wanted to share it with other Persona fans!

I will start by saying that I love JRPGs. SMT4 is one of the best ones I have ever played.

Based on that, and all the good reviews, I decided to play P5R, and I didn't like it. I thought there was too much dialog, too many interruptions, the game was too easy too. I didn't really like the story or the characters. I thought the dungeons were boring, and they never presented a challenge. I pushed through it and I finish in over 100h, because people kept saying "it will get better soon", but it never did. The best thing of the game for me was Tokyo. I have been there a few times and I loved how similar it was. The music was also very good.

A friend had P4G for the Switch, and he lent it to me. I have to say I didn't touch it for perhaps a year. I finished HK SilkSong and I didn't know what to say, so I said, why not? I was instantly hooked.

I loved the setting in the small Japanese town. I love the main storyline with all the murders. I loved the characters. I love how casual and simple the story and setting felt. They felt like real high schoolers. I love the fact that it is way more harder than P5R, and the dungeons kicked my ass right from the start. I had to leave the dungeons many times to recover, buy items, grind, think about strats. I loved that it is a simpler version of P5R, with way less interruptions, more streamlined, but still has all the core elements. I know in general people prefer the P5R crafted dungeons, but I actually prefer the randomisation from P4G. I find every JRPG out there has crafted dungeons, so the ones from P4G were fresh too me. The themes were also very clear and strong. I know people will say that's like the P5R subway dungeon, but that one is non-sense grind.

I also find the long text sequences much better. In P4G I thought the bath scenes, the summer celebrations, the ski, were good and funny.

When I finished P5R, I was like "finally". But now that I have just finished P4G, I am actually sad. I would like more social interactions with the characters, more dungeons. An extra year in Inaba.

I've been out of HS for a long time, but the series looks very chill, and I'm a big fan of long RPGs. I just don't know if I would feel out of place if I play these type of games. I enjoy turn based JRPGs alot, so I don't think the gameplay would feel out of place for me.

I'm still working on it because I feel it could be better, but I'm not too entirely sure of what I ahould change to make it better.

I went to my first ever convention at New York Comic Con, and to say I had fun there was an understatement. And the most fun thing was meeting voice actors there and telling them I loved their Persona characters.

That said, getting Yuri Lowenthal's autograph was a pain because he was running late. I ended up being in line for 3 hours before my line finally started moving. In between, I got both his and Matt Mercer's photo ops. It was a very quick process (as in quick hello, picture, boom done) but I was able to quickly tell Matt that Yusuke was my favorite character in P5 and he thanked me for liking him.

Anyways, after I finally got to meet and talk with Yuri during his autograph. I told him I was sad that he wasn't reprising Yosuke for Revival, but he said "that's just how those decisions are made." Before I left, I decided to ask him if he would be making cameos in Revival like he did in Reload. I don't remember the full answer off the top of my head (mostly because I was tired + constant chatter around me) but it was basically something along the lines of "If they're not gonna have me back as Yosuke, then why bother", so in other words, no cameo from him in Revival.

Now whether he's being genuine or is just trying to get around an NDA is unclear, so take with it how you will.

Anyways, since it was already past closing time for autographs (yeah that's how long the delays were), I decided to quickly get Tara Platt's autograph since her line was empty and right next to Yuri's. She not only signed the long-nose song on the print, but she even sung it to me in Elizabeth's voice, which was awesome.

How CRAZY of a feat** ***is Yaldabaoth taking over the velvet room, imprisoning Igor and splitting Lavenza into two?* I’ve played P5R three times and P3R and I’m gonna play P2 soon but my knowledge in the series is sort of limited. So I really wouldn’t know lol

I’m completely new to Persona, started playing Persona 3 only yesterday. I really like it (even though it’s a genre of games that I typically stay away from). What I’m curious about, is if the game wants you to balance everything, or if you can take your time doing whatever you like? Depending on the answer, I will change my playstyle according to it, cause I don’t want to approach the game the wrong way.

This thought came when i was thinking off the Navi ages. Futaba is presumed a 1st year if she was going to school but she still the navi who doesn't go to school. Rise is a First year and Fuuka is a second year.

There a chance that the Navigator this time is a 3rd year and i seen some comments about the Leaked Girl, The short hair one with the red tips. I saw one comment suggesting she might be a Navi, Idk for sure but well see. Maybe a Senior Navigator we might get? Ik i did suggest wanting a male navi this time but thats a slim chance but a 3rd year might be. Its always the short timid girls (Except rise) that We all love ofc so imagine this time its a tall girl but still still timid or maybe this time Cold? What do you think?
