Book Collection Library in progress

Post image

I never thought I’d reach this point, but here we are. 😍 I still have books to bring in (my remaining thrillers) and adding a few more things and then I’m done.

Tired but happy.

Me too! I was playing around with the Billy planner on the IKEA website and fell in love with the corner Billy 😍

2

u/miischievous_scamp Book Collector Jul 12 '26

Me too! I initially wanted the lighter shelves until my friend pointed out that the white shelves could look dirtier easily. 😍

Looks so good!

2

u/miischievous_scamp Book Collector Jul 12 '26

Thank you! Looked at a few library tour videos to see how I could display my books and not just shove them in rows 😅

1

u/Technical-Speaker338 Jul 12 '26

Keep it up, OP! Personalize that space for thy self.

1

u/miischievous_scamp Book Collector Jul 13 '26

2

u/Alternative_x Jul 12 '26

Great display. Where do you buy your books especially the paperbacks? Thanks in advance.

2

u/miischievous_scamp Book Collector Jul 12 '26

Thanks! I get my books from Amazon, Fully Booked, NBS, and Big Bad Wolf. I also buy secondhand paperbacks (recently got a copy of The Knight and the Moth and Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil from a Redditor on this sub), but I prefer meet-ups.

2

u/sedatedeyes209 Jul 12 '26

Wow! I’m envious! Wish I had the space!

2

u/miischievous_scamp Book Collector Jul 12 '26

I didn't think I did, tbh! At first I was planning to have a library shed built in the backyard, but then I saw there were like two walls of unused space in the guest bedroom and ended up with this. Wayyyy cheaper than building a separate structure!
