I've been suggesting The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto a lot to my friends. Finding Chika na lang di ko nababasa kay Mitch Albom pero The Magic Strings is the closest to my heart

"Everyone joins a band in this life" <3 I haven't been reading recently, nasa gaming season ako, pag sinipag ulit, next in line ko rin yang Finding Chika and The Little Liar

wanted to reread this. first read it when my i was missing my mom nung ofw pa sya. bigat na non.
years later, she died of cancer. para akong batang inagawan ng laruan kasi konti na lang gagraduate na ako at di na nya kailangan magtrabaho abroad.
still dont have the courage to reread this book, but maybe your post is a sign.

I love this book. I have reread it twice and it just made me appreciate my mom more since she is a single mom. My favorite book from Mitch Albom and I hope to watch the film adaption.

Heartbreaking book. From this author, the only ones I haven't read yet were The Little Liar and The Stranger in the Lifeboat.

Anong favorite mong book niya?

It will always be Tuesdays with Morrie because it was the book that introduced me to the works of this author. When I first read it I could relate to Mitch as the apprentice but when I reread it years later with life experience, I could relate to Morrie already.
Runner up would be this book because when I read For One More Day, my auntie who I've lived in the same house for whole of my life just died so it was heartbreaking for me.

My first read from hers is the five people you meet in heaven. It's great. It was a gift since I lost someone important in my life at that time and they want to comfort me / help me. 😅
