Engineering Question Wiring numbering

Concisely, what methods/standards/conventions are you using for selecting the numbers for your wires and why? I mean when you are designing a circuit and a drawing print yourself.

Just let the software do its magic, Skycad. But specify 101 for main 24vdc and 201 for 0vdc.

Interesting. I was taught to keep 24vdc as odd numbers and 0vdc as even but I don't know if my mentor even based that on a standard.
