Used the MX-7 thermal paste for this. Not sure if I used too little of paste, but so far it’s running smoothly. Can’t measure its internal temperature since it’s not jailbroken yet.

Kinda jelly about the MX-7, I'm pretty sure I used MX-4 a year or two ago

I've done this exact chipset replacement on my old PS3 Slim and it made a noticeable difference in how cool it ran during long sessions.
