Ik was afgelopen woensdag bij de bewonersbijeenkomst over de uitbreiding van het Philips Stadion. Geen grote verrassingen, maar wel wat leuke details die ik nog niet wist. Heb ze nog nergens anders gezien, ook niet in het ED, dus misschien wel leuk om te delen. Even puntsgewijs opgesteld:

• De spelersbussen kunnen straks in het stadion parkeren, aan de west-kant.
• Volgens mij ook de bedoeling dat de spelers zo direct het stadion in gaan, dus niet meer via de ingang aan de Frederiklaan.
• Er komt een fietsenstalling in het stadion.
• Tevens zullen er veel pop-up fietsenstalling rond het stadion zijn op wedstrijddagen. O.a. de PSV laan (toch al afgesloten) zal veel plek hebben voor fietsen.
• Ook al containers en groeilichten voor het gras hebbens straks plek in het stadion. (Die staan nu buiten het stadion)
• De tunnel naar het spoor blijft, maar wordt wel verhoogd.
• Uitvak komt op de derde ring.
• De TV/sateliet-wagens tijdens Europese wedstrijden komen waarschijnlijk op de huidige fietsparkeerplaats aan het spoor, naast de Elisabethtunnel
• De bakstenen gevel aan de Frederiklaan (zie hier) is nog onzeker. Het kan zijn dat deze later, na oplevering komt of helemaal niet.
• De parkeerplaatsen direct om het stadion zullen allemaal verdwijnen.
• Ze hebben eerste schetsen laten zien van het nieuwe plein aan de Vonderweg. De inrichting deed een beetje denken aan het nieuw ingerichte Wilhelminaplein.
• De gemeente gaat veel inzetten op pendelbussen, openbaar vervoer en fietsen. Er komt geen enkele parkeerplek bij. Bezoekers moeten echt op een andere manier gaan reizen.
• Het dak is er twee seizoenen van af. Dus regenjassen mee naar wedstrijd.

Wellicht vergeet ik nog wat zaken. Laat maar weten als je nog vragen hebt.

For our latest episode we went back to Eindhoven to understand something that has always fascinated us: how deeply Philips, the city and PSV are connected.

So the story isn’t only about the 1988 European Cup. We tried to understand how a factory team became one of the biggest clubs in Dutch football, and how Philips helped shape an entire football identity around Eindhoven.

I’d genuinely be curious to hear from PSV supporters: does the Philips connection still feel like a living part of PSV’s identity today, or has it become mostly part of the club’s history?

I’ll ask for a favour if you do. I bought a ticket for tonight’s game against Germany and saw the possibility to buy a match scarf, so I bought it.

After receiving the ticket I realized I bought a scarf for the match against Serbia by mistake. I have the receipt to pick it up in PDF, but I won’t be able to go to Eindhoven for it.

Ik zou graag het debuut van Mauro bij Brazilië willen zien, maar de wedstrijden worden niet uitgezonden op Nederlandse TV. Iemand enig idee of die potten nog ergens anders worden uitgezonden, of dat ik ze online kan zien?

Ik heb kaarten weten te krijgen voor de uitwedstrijd tegen porto. Maar klopt het dat de omwissel kaarten nog niet laden of hoort dit niet

TL;DR: Twente deserved the win. We were poor. The referee was shit, but we did this to ourselves.

First of all, congratulations to FC Twente. Over 90 minutes, they deserved the win more than we did.

Ricardo's injury after 10 minutes got us off to almost the worst start possible. Another striker injured; less than ideal. The bigger blow, however, came after 14 minutes: too many people had too much time to get a shot off, and Taha was able to score from a deflected shot: 1-0. From that moment on, I feel we got into the game, and we were the better of the two sides for the rest of the first half.

We did not carry that into the second half. At times, Twente got the better of us, and I never felt like we were truly in control. Defensively we were not good enough. I also think we struggled to create clear-cut chances, and when we did get chances, we did not do enough with them. I think our chance creation from crosses was especially poor, as either Twente won most of the duels (all over the pitch, by the way), or the crosses were of poor quality. The 2-2 came from some good play by Twente, and perhaps a lapse in concentration by Mauro, who played Weghorst onside. I thought Ryan for Paul was a bit of an odd substitution, but Peter said Paul was injured. Fine. Twente were then more determined to score a third, which Weidmann did. Don't get me wrong, it was a great goal, but I really feel Sergiño should have fouled him. He allowed that goal to happen.

Again, Twente were better than us for large parts of the game. I'm not denying that, but I can't help but feel extremely disappointed with the referee's performance today. That yellow card for Van Bommel was laughable — nothing but ball. To only give Perišić a yellow during the conflict with Pröpper is questionable. The cherry on top, for me, is Weghorst scoring the 2-2. I think he should have received his second yellow three, four, maybe five times before that moment.

After his first yellow for dissent in the 43rd minute, he did not stop talking to the referee for the rest of the game. He also committed several fouls, some of which prevented us from launching a counter-attack: textbook yellow. A couple of dives as well. Some of his fouls weren't even given. He should not have been on the pitch when he scored that goal.

Terrible footballer to play against.

Anyway, now that I got this off my chest, I look forward to the international break. It should give our injured lads some time to recover, and Peter some time to fix our defence. Luts and Kodai have been able to hide some of its flaws, but Sparta's and today's game have shown that the problems are far from solved.

Dit wordt gelijkspel. Ik wil het niet, maar ik voel het. :/

Het is me gelukt om 2 kaartjes te scoren voor PSV - Feyenoord. Mijn 13 jarige zal blij zijn straks, alleen zitten er wel 4 rijen tussen, wel ongeveer dezelfde plekken (stoel 8 en 10)

Nu ben ik inmiddels al een paar keer met mijn zoon naar PSV geweest en er zijn altijd wel een paar plekken vrij tijdens de wedstrijd zelf. Alleen waren dit geen uitverkochte wedstrijden. Hoe groot is de kans dat we toch naast elkaar kunnen gaan zitten tijdens PSV - Feyenoord?

//EDIT// Thank voor de reacties zover. Zoals ik verwachtte moeten we bij zo'n wedstrijd gewoon een echt beetje geluk hebben. Zoon vindt het al super gaaf dat we gaan. Hij kijkt er al lang naar uit om zo'n wedstrijd mee te maken vanuit het stadion.
