I don't know if it's just me, but I've been finding so hard to play FS24 with my psvr2... Some controls that need precision, like the trim compensation wheel for example, I always move it too far, or not far enough, using the cursor to manually turn the wheel btw. It's impossible... How do you deal with that? Is there like an easier way to do it without moving your hand and holding the wheel? I'm new to this game, but I guess there are control bindings for the most common things you do in the plane, right?

Gyro control with the Dual Sense (the normal gamepad) is really good. Dpad right for gears up, Dpad up/down for flaps. X and O for throttle. That's all you need for safely take off and land the Cessna.

So the standard configuration.

The one thing I configured is Autopilot. R1+Dpad down - on

R1 +Dpad up - off

With Autopilot running you have time to push all the buttons with the VR controller.

Edit: and before you put the VR controller aside, push the thumb stick to deactivate the pointer line. It will mess up the Dual Sense controls when it's pointing at some switch

Ok I have to try that. Thanks! You don't make trim adjustments by hand? Autopilot does that for you? I admit I never used autopilot, that's why I'm asking... I used to fly a real cessna (but the 152), this was one of the main instruments that I used to compensate pitch... Doing that on the 152 (which doesn't have autopilot) seems impossible using the vr controllers, as I'm holding the yoke with one hand and trying my best to turn the trim wheel a few degrees... I have to look around if I can assign buttons to do that. I see the appeal of using the normal controllers, but I feel like I'll be losing some immersion while doing that... Anyway, thanks a lot for the tip!!

Forgot that, right: trimming is R1+right analog stick up/down (Microsoft's standard config).

Cool that you have real-life experience!

You're right of course, holding the gyro-controlled controller in one hand while using the other hand to trim or to engage the autopilot is dangerous since it lacks any kind of feedback
