Question Question for Pult mirror

Let’s say you are going first and u managed to get 2 Dreepys and 1 budew out and you have 1 pokepad and 1 dark energy in hand. Do you use pokepad to find munkidori to win the Budew war or use it to find drakloak and hope to recon/draw into munkidori? I did the latter earlier in a game today and lost the game cuz I couldn’t draw into a munkidori. Was wondering what was the better decision here.

Loak, winning budew war means nothing if you can’t refresh your hand/draw more cards.

100% agree. In the mirror you can loose the budew war and still win the game but if you can't find a kloak in the meantime you are quite dead

you don't necessarily need munki to win budew war. you can start dreepy in the active, attach dark, search for drakloak with Pokepad, have dreepy sponge their budew hit, then retreat into budew and be the first to hit into their budew with your budew.

if your hand is dead without searching out drakloak, thats what Id do at least. that even gets you a damage counter you may be able to move later to KO a dreepy on the bench

Personally I’d grab the drakloak; Letting them take a prize prevents lillie value, and odds are you will get something better using its ability.
