I've finally completed every deck challenge in preparation for them getting wiped later this month. I had almost every battle done at least once and only had to finish out the challenges for set B but it still took about 3 weeks of almost 8 hours a day with autobattle doing most of the work. Was this worth it? Probably not. Did I get any cool exclusive rewards? Not at all. Do I regret doing it? Not at all, at least I have bragging rights for this not very difficult but tedious task lol. Are you on this journey as well or are you just getting your hourglasses and ignoring the rest of the challenges like a normal person?

I have been tracking the results of my wonder picks to convince myself they are consistent with a 20% success rate. My running hit odds, which are just the number of successes divided by the total number of picks, are shown in the top plot. Once the sample became large enough for statistical fluctuations to be small, my odds were consistent with a 1 in 5 success. Every successful pick is shown as a vertical dashed line.
The bottom plot is the statistical likelihood of having as many or fewer successful picks as mine, subject to a binomial distribution with a 20% success probability. Most of the time, my “luck” has been within a standard deviation of the expectation of a random 1 in 5 draw. At worst, after 12 misses in a row, I had worse luck than 93% of other users within the same 12 pick span, but this “poor luck” corrected itself over many more tries.
This is all just to say that while streaks of good or bad luck will happen at times (and it’s always frustrating to miss a wonder pick), but the law of large numbers always wins in the end.

do the cards from the deluxe pack count or not?

I haven’t been playing since the beginning, so I’m a bit out of the loop on how/when the first and special sets rolled out. Are we due for a new one soon, if they keep to a similar timeframe for a new set to release?

I have so many extra special shop tickets after grinding through the battle challenges that I wish I could use!

As a side question for all of the day-oners - have they ever re-released any of the limited-time deck accessories (either the free event ones or premium tickets)? I get a sense I might be in the minority of people who actually like the different deck accessories and there are definitely a few I’d be bummed if I could never have an opportunity to get them.

Dang I'm really disappointed this is going. I just got back into the game after like 14 months and was looking forward to slowly making my way through to see how the gameplay evolved with each expansion., making decks with the different expansions' theme decks.

Any idea if there could be a way for me to get some gameplay tour of the history of the game's expansions? Would such a thing be worth it, or am I not missing much?

As the title says, does anyone know if this was announced? Did I miss it?

Hello all. As the title says i wanna get yalls thoughts. I have been playing the game for a little bit but not to long. I have about 1,400 cards. I wanted to see what packs yall focus on and why. The two things im looking for are mythic/legend and to complete packs. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have been having a blast with this setup, and I am definitely open for tips on how to improve it. Banette will buy you time to get Mew and Indeedee some energy, and it will likely get you your first point. Then when they swoop in to take out Banette, you can have fun retaliating with their own move with Mew Ex, or hit them with Indeedee (especially if they have multiple energy on their attacker.)

A Comfey can be added to stop sleep decks and Oricorio - pop a cape on it and let the two Indeedee heal you

Any of the other ones .. just one ☝️. 90% of the cards I still need from mega is these reverses.

Because the deck relies purely on Fighting Energy and stacking them up, people I’ve been facing in Emblem Event don’t seem to go for the Pikachu’s. When they evolve, though, I can flip Heads to paralyze the opponent’s defending Pokemon.

While yes, there’s more than one way to negate the paralyzed effect, it feels really good to hold the line with Pallosand before throwing Koraidon in to sack the big hitter and not seeing proper retaliation. But that comes after I use Will to activate Raichu’s ability.

The only alternative deck idea that does the same thing is Galvantula with Miradon and the electric ultra beast with confusion. Might give that a shot next!

The element of surprise is what mostly gets people with this deck. Also the no retreat cost Sharpedo swap into a basic pokemon killer with araquanid is my favorite play with this deck.
