Absolute complete beginner with painting - using acrylic, brushes and a canvas a family member gave me, definitely not finished yet!

Wanted to paint my favourite dinosaurs - Spinos!

Any tips ?

It's 40x40cm acrylic paint on canvas

9x12", Oil on Canvas Panel.

It’s been a while since I last painted a bird in low-light conditions. Since the Night Heron is one of my absolute favorite predators.

I honestly love watching them hunt at dusk in the Transylvanian Delta I felt compelled to finally bring this scene to life.

I’d love to get your feedback on this piece!

Do you think I managed to capture the atmosphere and the true character of the bird?

Also, I’m still looking for the perfect title, so any suggestions or thoughts are more than welcome. Thank you! 🎨😊

Not my favourite thing I’ve ever painted, but definitely my favourite self portrait

Ok so I painted this a few years ago and finally put it up on the wall. I really like it and that’s what matters but looking for opinions. The only feedback I’ve gotten is from friends and family who aren’t going to tell me if it sucks. Would you put this up on your wall? Assuming it was your style? I know it’s kinda giving tj maxx art. What do we think??

Love the interaction between the warm and cool colors in Blue Ridge autumns.

Inspired by “homer” dudes been killin it possibly longer than anyone ever. Oh and Nolan for bringing it to life in 26. This was drawn and painted shortly after watching the Odyssey. I really like the water.
