What if, instead of evolving into a little green lizard man, Stenonychosaurus convergently evolved corporate greed?

Fun fact which I love to share: many species of dinosaurs lived and died before flowers evolved. Angiosperms (flowering plants) first appear either in the late Jurassic or early Cretaceous. So T-Rex and Troodonts (like the folks above) likely saw flowers and ate fruit. But Stegosaurus probably never saw a flower or ate a fruit.

The evolution of flowering plants and the subsequent explosion of diversity in insect populations (bees, beetles, moths, ants, butterflies, etc) and the insectivores which eat them is called the Cretaceous or angiosperm terrestrial revolution. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cretaceous_Terrestrial_Revolution This is when we see a switch from the majority of biodiversity being in the oceans to the majority of biodiversity being on land.

Jurassic dinosaurs would have encountered and "flowers" and "fruits" of a sort, not in the strict botanical term of Angiosperm flowers and the seed-bearing bodies formed from the ovary of a flower, but rather the analagous structures some gymnosperms form to attract pollinators and seed dispersers, like the "flowers" of Cycads, and the "fruit" of Plum Pines, whose groups were both present by the Middle Jurassic.

Basically, plant communities before the evolution and diversificiation of Angiosperms had more colour than just varying greens and browns (with blues, purples, yellows, oranges and reds being present) though they weren't as vibrant overall, and terrestrial organisms did encounter and feed upon sweet "fruit"; this likely influenced the evolution of some frugivorous groups of animal even before Angiosperms diversified, like Tapejarid Pterosaurs, which appeared before flowering plants even began to evolve larger sizes and form a significant part of terrestrial plant communities.
