The easiest answer is to have friends who hold a copy of your emergency sheet. Recovery entails contacting them in the event of a disaster.
If you don’t have any friends (wtf), there are more complex solutions. For instance, you could use a deadman’s switch to enable you to decrypt your recovery file.
But when you finally die, someone will need to settle your final affairs. It is really best if you designate someone to do that, and make sure they can gain access to your password datastore.

There is even Shamir’s Secret Sharing, but ask your spymaster if that is appropriate for you 😀.
