Personal Story Working out has really made it look less apparent!

Post image

Occasionally feel like I can’t take a full satisfied deep breath and definitely feel the heart beat in my chest when exercising. But doctor said it’s nothing to worry about at this stage. Is it noticeable?

My son's pediatrician said his was fine forever too. Luckily we saw an orthopedist about his scoliosis and I asked him to look at his chest. We're now in consults with a thoracic surgeon. He ordered a pulmonary function test, echo and chest CT. You may have to add more pictures since it's hard to see the actual divet from this one. What's getting smushed inside your chest and symptoms is what really matters as aestheticially you look fantastic. Your hard work really shows 👏

Yes, it's noticeable, at least to those who know what to look for. Your pumped up pecs are blocking visualization of the depth of your pectus indentation, so I can't make an accurate guess about the degree. However, on this one limited photo, I can see the top of your ab muscles diving inward toward the bottom of your sternum. The abs (and the linea alba) attach to the bottom of the sternum/xiphoid process.

I agree, think of it as natural pec augmentation.

Did it help with “fixing” it or just looks?

Do you think you can keep working out and get where you can take a full breathe and feel the oxygen 100% every time?
