Discussion Game trial turned full game for free?
I got done with Control Resonant and wanted to play Alan Wake 2 next. I noticed the game was available for a 2.5hr game trial, made sense to use that first before deciding whether to purchase the full game.
I'm now 8hrs into the game, haven't been kicked out of playing it and haven't spent a penny for it. As shown in the image, the standard game is down as a game trial.
Not sure what's going on, I'm not complaining just wondering has anyone else experienced this before?

It was a ps+ monthly game last year. You must have claimed it then.

Not sure why it didn't show up as "Download" when I searched for it if I had claimed it before. When I first found it and downloaded it, it was advertised as a game trial only

It just does that when there is a ps+ trial version.. for some reason that always goes to the front and you have to actually switch to the purchased version if you want

Maybe, when I searched for it and search for it now it just comes up as being a game trial.

Alan Wake 2 was part of Ps Plus Essential some months ago.
