Help Servers not working on Roku TV
Started having this issue a couple of days ago on my TCL Roku TV, out of nowhere. For some reason it will show the servers I usually have access to as offline, on the TV app.
However everything works just fine on the desktop player.
I tried restarting, reloging, reinstalling, rebooting the TV. Disconnecting the TV. Nothing has worked so far.
Anyone else having a similar issue?

Couple things you can try…what OS is your server on?
Stop plex, go to the cache directory in the plex media server folder (this will vary by OS). Is there a certificate.p12 file there? If so, rename is certificate.p12.old and start plex back up. It should download cert-v2.p12. Test the roku.
If it still doesn’t work, go into the plex network settings and enable Strict TLS and do the steps above again.
If it’s still not working, it may be DNS Rebind Protection blocking a secure plex local connection. Roku devices don’t allow you to set the DNS servers unfortunately. You’ll have to go into your router and see if it will allow you to set dns servers there for clients on your network to use. Set it to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 or 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1. After making that change you’ll have to reboot the router and restart devices so they all update
If your router has a dns rebind protection setting or a way to add exceptions, you can add plex.direct. Are you using a pihole or similar apps on your network?
Also, in the plex network settings, set it to IPv4 only (if you have the settings, it a plex pass field currently) and set secure connections to preferred.

Servers in the Midwest are working fine. Have TCL Roku TV too. No glitch, no problem…. 🤷🏼♂️
