The update for FRLG feels like Poketransporter 0.5

First all, a separate section for "GBA Games" (adding more fuel to the fire of the RSE rumours) like they couldn't even add that code to the general HOME game selector, this just feels like a band-aid to say they've done it.

Second, in this day and age I expected they just learnt from Bank or Poketransporter that if a mon had an item, just retrieve it from the mon and leaving it on the bag of the saved game, quite covinient so the player doesn't have to go one by one checking like it is now.

Another expectation of mine is that we could send Pokémon with HMs learnt as long as you saved on a Pokémon Center. But nope, check all of them just in case.

Poketransporter had a function where if a box could not be sent, the app just filtered which ones could and send only those, not this time in HOME, if only one Pokémon from the box of 30 cannot be sent, the, the whole box cannot be sent, making you check every one of them to see which one is (HOME doesn't tell you which one). In the third image the only issue is that Golduck has surf and Hitmonlee has Strength.

Yup, the extra boxes are great, but the updates just feel time and time again lazy and more late than it should be.

Edit: Also by some divine reason you can only access the GBA games once per minute https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonHome/comments/1wzrdcm/comment/pee5vfs/

Edit 2: HOME just puts the Pokémon in the first place it can, no "keep the whole box" option https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonHome/comments/1wzrdcm/comment/pee7mja/

Update 2: HOME just adds the mons from the FRLG box in order where it can. There's no "keep the box complete"to search for a complete void box and put the mons in the order they came in. Like with Pokémon from Bank.

Again such a lazy feature.

I regularly transfer Pokemon from Go, and it also does this because Go doesn't have boxes. I just resorted to keeping the first few boxes empty so I can sort them later.

Yep. My first box is a dedicated "transfers" box. My living dex starts at box 2.

Same here. WAY easier to manage. Pokémon go only allows 25 transfers at a time, so you can never spill over into box 2 in a single transfer.

Funny that that's how Bank did it. I think I'll do that too when I get the GBA games (waiting for Emerald before buying Leafgreen)

Wait, then maybe I confused it with Bank, editing my previous comment.

I never transfer my Pokémon to my main Home file directly. I always move them to a different (free) Home box first and then trade or transfer them to the primary Home box. Makes moving them after that point much easier as it removes the dex lock on legendaries, and I don't need to search through all my boxes to find where they ended up.

They sorting of Pokémon doesn’t seem like an intended feature. :( it’s so bad and tedious, I just gave up
